Yup. When you become the owner, you get to make the decisions...if you want to.

If you're smart, you learn early that it's helpful to delegate and have football-people make football decisions. Your role evolves to being Chief Arbitor of Internal Disputes, Question-Asker & Chief, Source of Sage Wisdom and Provider of Additional Support When Asked For or Needed.

But all owners aren't smart. Hopefully Michael is. In any case, he owns the store, and he and his family get to spend the money the way they want to. (It's the American Way).

I would say the Rooney family runs an organization like one should be run. They appear to be very good at delegating authority to people who are experts. Same with New England. Jerry Jones has decided he is the HC, GM, and everything else. It is his money and his team so he has said. I really do not know what he Cardinal organization is or is not.

I'm sure it will be like most owners, Mike will have questions and he will expect to be fed convincing answers.

Mike will ask, why not so and so first rounder? Mike expects a convincing answer why not.

Mike will ask, why aren't we pursuing this high name FA? Again, he will expect a convincing answer.

Same will go with positions of need. Why are we filling this need?

Not a huge issue if HE trusts those he gave power.

Sounds like Keim and his buddy will have a lot of say, to Mikey. After Whiz picking and choosing everything, with Graves not doing much, Mikey looks to be surrounding himself with football kindness.

It's been brought up over and over that we don't know what happened or happens. Mikey does, he can probably remember who wanted who, who overuled who, and who made some really good or bad coices.

I don't think Mikey was cheap in his search for a GM, or just trying to find a yes man. I think Mikey genuinely respects Keim's skills and opinion.

Folks that got fired this year got fired for a reason. I don't want them. Headcoaches that retired after glory aint coming back to coach some Cardinals. I like that we are taking successful guys on their way up, instead of great resumes on their way down. Now if we can just do the same with our QBs. :D
