I really like the casting of the prison designer (Wentworth Miller), but I have my doubts about Dominic Purcell as his brother. I watched John Doe (which ended on a cliffhanger :thumbdown) and he was pretty good. A savant is not the same as an inmate so this might be a bit of a stretch. Either way I am very excited about this show.

Man is that one killer tattoo? :D He's got all the answers on one shirt tattoo! I wonder if you could put a Master's degree of answers on your body?

My wife wondered how he reads the blueprints on his back? :biglaugh:

Here's what Bill Simmons had to say about the premiere:
Disappointed in "Prison Break" Monday night -- it was all over the place and nearly impossible to follow unless you were keeping a chart or something. The guy who played the brother on death row was such a brutal actor, even the Sports Gal noticed (and she never notices stuff like that). The lead female could have been cuter. Didn't like the bad guys that much, except for the Boggs rip-off from "Shawshank" (he was slightly creepy). And I knew going in that the premise was ridiculous, but watching it, it was even more ridiculous than I expected. This would have been a much better HBO show -- they could have thrown in some nudity during the conjugal visit, the riot scene would have been much more over the top, and the swear words would have loosened things up. Anyway, I'm giving it two more weeks to see if it gets better ... if not, I'm pulling the plug.

The guy must be an idiot if he couldn't follow what was going on. I thought it was VERY straight forward, and the main actor laid out his plans to his brother which basically spoon fed the viewer. Lots of little details to keep you interested, and tons of potential plot twists were set up. This could be real interesting! :)

i agree, even my wife said that one of the thing that she liked about it was that it was easy to follow and there weren't too many characters to get confused over.

Bump.

After episode 3, I am slightly disappointed with the show. I still plan on watching, but I think it's on the express train to "guilty pleasure" territory if it isn't there already.

Isn't this episode 2 or has my TIVO been living a lie?

I forgot to Season Pass it, so I have to hope they are playing Episode 3 again.

Let me know if you find when they are repeating it. They repeated the two pilots. I missed the third one, too. Basic VCR 101 failed me! Operator error! :D
