I hope that he did not get hurt.

When was the last time you all remember seeing him in the game?

Hopefully if he got injured, it was something minor, and the coaches kept him out so that he would not get hurt.

The play by play on nfl.com has an incomplete pass from Bulger to Boldin at 10:46 in the 3rd quarter. I think the QB's were favoring their favorite receivers alot (Manning/Harrison, Bulger/Holt), maybe that explains some of it.

It comes down to QBs being influenced by familarity in critical situations--that is, almost every play. Anyone familar with Carl Von Clausewitz's ideas of "Friction in war " and "the elements of chance" that commanders rely on to survive friction may understand why I made this particular reference. I detected this tendency on several occasions when QBs Manning and Bulger (sp) came under pressure.

But Boldin did himself, the Cards organization and Cards fans well by being the only rookie at the Pro Bowl.

Why I'm Concerned

In addition to playing WR, Boldin was the starting punt returner and also played gunner on kickoffs.

His white Cardinal helmut made it easy to pick him out on the TV screen.

In addition to not playing WR in the second half, he wasn't present either as a gunner or punt returner.

That's why I share Jim's concern. My guess is that if he suffered anything major, ESPN would have reported it. Maybe he was suffering from flu symptoms.
