BOLDIN'S KNEE INJURY NOT SERIOUS

A league source tells us that the knee injury suffered by Cardinals receiver Anquan Boldin on Tuesday is not serious, and that the AP 2003 offensive rookie of the year will be sidelined only for a couple of weeks.

Already missing is receiver Bryant Johnson, a first-round pick in 2003 for Arizona. Johnson is still on the PUP list and hasn't practiced during training camp.

The absence of Johnson and Boldin means that No. 3 overall pick Larry Fitzgerald is the go-to guy for the foreseeable future, and the extra attention likely will serve to make him even better prepared to have a monster rookie year.

If Fitzgerald has a big enough year to capture the offensive ROY honors, it'll be the first time that players at the same position won the award from the same team since 1969 and 1970, when running backs Calvin Hill and Duane Thomas, respectively, won the honors with the Cowboys.

When I heard about Q today, I just wanted to scream. First Shipp now this. I hope this story is 100% accurate. I dont mind one bit if Q sits for the first 2 or 3 pre-season games. Everyone needs to pray to the football gods for the Cards to be in their good graces. Lets have at least one season with the players getting through with good health. :)

Quan planned this so Fitz could get extra work in. Plus he had to do his volunteer work, cure West Nile Virus and install a new voting system in Florida before the November elections.

Until profootballtalk, noted seers of the football world, reported this I was feeling pretty good. Now I expect the worst. PFT has put the jinx on Quan for sure. :(

Stupid jackasses should have their website taken away.

I hate to burst anyones bubble, but, the Cards are not reporting that to anyone. How could they know. We will know sometime Wednesday. I'd like to belive this but I can't see how they know things nobody in the media here knows.

He will be fine. If otherwise, he wouldn't be on his feet and about. He had swelling Monday, he just came back too early. He's fine.

I have no real clue but a not so serious knee injury which requires a couple of weeks on the sideline is a bit strange to me.

I really have a bad feeling about this.

Heres the ONE TIME we want this site to be right! Hopefully we get Q (and B.Johnson) back about a week or two before the season opener and then McCown can get some good practice with the 3 WR Set with everyone there. One good thing about this scenerio is that the Rams wouldn't have any pre-season film to study with the "Big 3" in the game for the 3 WR Set.

Go Cards/ America!

LOL If Shane can't deal with the best baseball team in MLB, he has issues. The Cards keep winning and the Cubs are scratching for a wildcard spot.

At the start of the season, it was supposed to be Houston and the Scrubs to make a push in the NL Central, well, the Cards didn't get that memo. Go Cards.

The Cardinals in baseball are....

having an AMAZING season. They have "rallied" to win so many times. It's like NO lead is safe for the other team. Let's hope it's an "omen" that good things are in store for "ALL--things" Cardinal this year. Go ARIZONA!! Go ST.LOUIS!! (The Cardinals--NOT the "Scams"!!) LOL
