Judging from Leftwiches' comments that he very much values acuracy as a highly desirable trait for QB success in the NFL, and now the interview comment put forth by Jureki, it would seem that the Cardinals would be content to let Jackson slide past them at the 15 spot.

Maybe they'll try to move up or grab someone in the early 2nd round. I think they really need to focus on 1 or two QB's to really hone in on, in each round, and what it would take to get it done. Obviously a 1st round trade up would cost more, so they would really need to be sold completely to move up there.

With the Jackson interviews, it could be smoke, cause most everyone isn't saying what Jureki is as far as I can see.

Sure would like a link to those rumors.
Wasn’t in print. His position on not willing to talk about any other position was out there.

What would I give for Mayfield? This year’s first & next year’s. For Foles, next year’s second.

Jackson is a better athlete than Bridgewater, but has not yet shown the ability to read defenses. Bridgewater is a better decision maker when passing. Jackson’s height to weight ratio is weaker than any current quality QB. He slightly outweighs short guys like Brees & Wilson. That frame type is typically not conducive to adding weight, especially if you don’t want to sacrifice speed & agility. He added only 6 pounds at Louisville. It’s likely they tried for more.

White and other later choices are long shots. It’s time to improve the odds. If the price rises to absurd, I’d put the others in round 3.

If Rudolph slipped to bottom of round 1 I’d be okay with going up to get him.

Respectfully disagree Harry.
Giving up this years 1st and next years 1st for Mayfield.i am glad you are not the GM IMHO the only way i would give up that much for a player would be if said player was a once a decade type player (mayfield sure as hell is not that) ..I would not trade up for Mayfield.Personally i would pass on Mayfield completely.i don`t buy the hype and BS.I also have my doubts about Jackson only gaining 6 lbs in 3 years at Louisville.
Why is it a bad thing for Jackson saying he is a QB only.Is Baker Mayfield working out at Running Back,Josh Allen at Tight End? Denzel Ward at WR? Connor Williams at Defensive End?
Lamar Jackson did not miss a game at Louisville in 3 years. The kid is tough.
I guess people choose to see the negatives that they want to see and let that be their deciding factor. To each his own .

Mayfield is the overwhelming favorite on this board according to the poll.
The kids a short, slow, Big12 quarterback who throws to wide open receivers and people are suggesting giving up the entire draft to trade for him.
Imagine Lamar Jackson's numbers if he played with Mayfield's teammates, coaches and scheme. His numbers would be through the roof.

I can`t see how anyone thinks Mayfield is worth trading up for.Much less so saying you would trade TWO #1 picks for him.Not a chance in hell.I am a Lamar Jackson fan as people know.I also like things Rosen,Darnold and to a lesser extent what Josh Allen and Mason Rudolph can bring to the table .Not a big Mayfield fan at all.I just don`t see him working out and being a success in the NFL.
I hope SK and Wilks don`t draft Mayfield and go another QB or draft a different position.
