The Mavericks' roster is close to being finalized for the 2018-19 season. They have one loose end to tie up with Yogi Ferrell, and they are hopeful he will re-sign in the next few days. Assuming that bit of business gets wrapped up, their team will be set for the time being -- with one spot available for somebody coming out of the summer league and, perhaps, another one being held open for the fall if somebody on the low end of the roster fails to impress. Every camp there are some players who invariably get waived during training camp that may make sense for the Mavericks to pick up.
