I was one of the more vocal against having Clancy come back as DC...and one of the reasons was how Rolle was used. I also have not been one of those saying Rolle should be put at a safety.

Today, Clancy was masterfull in his use of Rolle...getting him up and down in the middle of the field and really getting inside of Carson's head. It was obvious that Palmer was flustered and concerned about 21. Great defensive playcalling.

And after today, I am going to be one of the most vocal in favor of moving Rolle to FS. Holt is not cutting it and I was wrong about what Rolle can do out there...at FS I think he would excel. Imagine being able to do this kind of stuff that we do with AW already on EITHER side of the field with Rolle or AW. How would you even gameplan...who is coming..who is dropping...both can hit. Rolle has the speed to do it, he can cover in space but not so well man to man. He's perfect for FS.

Congratulations Clancy for a great defensive called game...you must have seen something on film on Palmer because guys hand their hands on the ball all day long.

Congrats Rolle for your upcoming NFC defensive player of the week award.

5-5. Let's go STOMP the Brownies at home...it best be loud as hell...

Palmer was confused all day by Clancy's schemes.

Rolle was cocky enough to put on the deception and Palmer never even saw him half the time.

This is the way he was used at the 'U' and what made him a top 10 pick. He is incredibly effective when moved around the field.

I'm on the Rolle to saftey bandwagon.

I think he is taking 9ers as win :D

Absofreakinglutely. We aren't a team if we don't kill that worthless group who lucked out and beat us before they know they sucked. That's a win. I am only worried about the Brownies at home...everyone else we should THUMP.

Palmer was confused and the receivers were short-arming balls all day because they were getting crushed.

Pendy rocks.

I'm all for Rolle as a FS. Holt sucks anyway. I think Rolle more than earned it today.

A couple of nice drops by Chris Henry helped too!

Henry was hearing and feeling footsteps. On that second drop, rewatch it...you can SEE him feeling the guy coming...he starts to look up for the hit and drops it.

Wonderful!!

Exactly. And I not even sure he got hit hard today, he just saw what was happening to his teammates!

Kudos to the D. That's not Cinci F'ing up, that AZ bringing it.
