Speaking of Punters does anyone remember the guy one NFL team had that had played in the Australian Football league?

Some wiseguy said that his punts were hard to handle because they spun in the opposite direction.

Player is a good punter.

Another bad thing about Player is that his punts are EXTREMELY susceptible to being blocked when he tries to boom them. Usually that means we are deep in our own territory, where a blocked punts is especially bad.

When his "boomers" aren't blocked, the hang time isn't there which results in poor downfield coverage when the returner gets the ball. This then results in consistently good returns for the opposition.

While difficult to capture in statistics, Player has been a liability for the last two years due to the two items above. His age has caught up with him and he does need to be replaced.
