WEST LAFAYETTE — Purdue forward Madison Layden will enter the transfer portal.
Layden averaged 9.2 points per game during her career and finished with 1,022 career points and is the 36th 1,000-point scorer in Boilermakers history.
She did not play in 2024-25.
Shjoined her younger sister McKenna as the first sister tandem in Purdue history last season.

Talia Goodman of on3sports.com first reported the transfer portal news and was confirmed by a source in Purdue's athletics office. Layden will enter as a grad transfer and has one year of eligibility remaining due to the extra year given because of the COVID pandemic.
The loss of Layden came as 4-star recruit Kira Reynolds decommitted from the Boilermakers and older sisters Mila and Amiyah announced their intention to enter the transfer portal which opens on March 25.
