Freshman Robbie Hummel scored 15 points, and No. 16 Purdue beat Northwestern 68-43 on Saturday to move into a tie with Wisconsin for first place in the Big Ten. Nemanja Calasan scored 11 points, Scott Martin had 10 points and nine rebounds and Chris Kramer had six steals, all in the first half, for the Boilermakers (23-6, 14-2).
