Purple returns to the Suns court design

Glad to see it back.

3rd court design in as many years. The all black and orange one with SUNS in the center court was hideous, especially in person. Very gloomy. Glad they didn't fart around in getting rid of it.

about time we went back to our roots. now, all they have to do is go back to the original uni's and they'll be right as rain esthetic wise at least.

Black and gray are not in this team's color wheel. White, with purple and orange (sunset colors) are this team's history.
Best uni's were the 1993 new design, after years of the 'old west' styling.

We've had one black jersey that looked good, and it was back in the 90s, and if the purple was removed it would have been hideous.

And regardless, this is the court we're talking about. I would say it is a far more "universally accepted fact" that the court design the past 3 seasons has been wretched. Looks like Halloween. Orange and Black by themselves are a putrid color combination.

you can google articles or twitter mentions when players or authors talk about the best NBA jerseys of all time and you will find that the Black Sunburst jersey is almost always mentioned.

I actually like some black in the jersey and like the purple. The orange jersey was hideous and the white was meh.

My favorites have always been the pre-Barkley whites with the western font - although I don't necessarily mind the original wordmark or the Barkley era wordmark (still love seeing it on that wall when I'm in town and drive up 7th street).

It would actually be cool if one year they wore the original or western whites at home and the Barkley purples on the road. But I'm not sure if you're allowed to do that. One might have to technically be an alternate.

I do like this move though. The black and orange theme from the past made it seem like every game was Halloween themed.
