I can't see how the Rams could make this trade. It's too one sided. I like the trade from our side but we would probably have to include picks to get it done.

My .02 The best thing we can do going into the second season of our run for the ring is to maintain continuity. Let the reciever position play out with Breaston and others in the wings.
Build on our running game with a more expereinced Oline and address Qs situation at the end of the year.
Our D should be top 10 material this year taking some heat off of Lienart and Co. My biggest concern is our ST play.
The good news is we'll be playing for the division in Dec. with our current roster.

I second the sentiment and logic. Top 10 defense? That's hard to buy into. If we just become average on defense, we should indeed be in the playoff hunt in December.

As far as trading with the Rams, the scenario is unrealistic because nobody is in charge over there and the owners really would like to sell the team, in my opinion.

Jackson's agent, Eugene Parker, knows this and will extract a huge contract from them.

Don't ever trade Q.

Just wait until next year when Jackson is available. You can have the best of both worlds next year. If they (the Rams) tag him so be it, wasn't meant to be.

I'd do it. Then I'd try to trade Edge to someone for a late round draft pick.

I would also do it as Quan has made it clear he wants out of here. Also we need a proven RB and Jackson is sure that. He does seem to have an attitude problem but that is not uncommon in the NFL. Jackson is the only proven RB on his team so I do not see him being traded. He is currently being fined $15,000 a day which will jump to something like $250 thousand once the season starts. Some are guessing a new contract for him would cover these fines. My guess is that he gets a new contract as the team cannot do without him.

St Louis needs to have some backbone here. Stand firm. Let him sit half the season out and act like they don't care. Even when they can't move the ball during their games.

Agreed.

St. Louis can lose games without Jackson, just as well or better than they can with Jackson. :) They might as well let him stew!

I'm starting to wonder if S.J. really dislikes Scott Linehan. The lame duck is starting to quack. The real question- who gets the axe first? Linehan or Nolan?
