A better piece of advice is to let the players and coaches worry about how they handle each other.

They all say it's no big deal. Haley had no issues. We are going to the super bowl. Why are WE as fans trying to explode it into something bigger?

Exactly! It's not like he mooned some Packer fans ala Randy Moss, or squirted a water bottle at an official ala Randy Moss.

It is a matter between Anquan and the coaching staff and players period. As long as the incident has no effect on game planning and execution for the Super Bowl, it is closed IMO.

Oh because Fans are not suppose to have any reaction to how the players on their teams act right?

Your right about one thing it's not big deal in the grand scheme of things but it doesn't mean it's not a valid topic of discussion.

A topic of discussion, sure. Across 7 or 8 threads? Not worthy of that, IMO.

Donald, if you're referring to the picture that the players were all running around with, remember that that picture was not taken in the post game, but earlier in the game, if it was even in this game.

There is no way the picture was taken during the celebration where the newspaper was seen. Technology like that has not been since since Spaceballs.

I saw something on the news this morning, looked like an actual newspaper but they could have just put that picture on it. I only saw it in a passing glance. I can't testify at grand jury about it.

Anquin & Yahoo

Yahoo Sports scathing article on Q better get his attention. He is doing damage to his image and earning potential. His rants before the season were one thing because he came off a great season but after all his injuries there was already speculation about his ability to play at a high level for many more years given his style of play. His behavior after the game did not help him.

He is way better than this. I hope he takes the high road for his own sake and comes in tomorrow with a positive "public" attitude. The sulking "no comment" responses don't help him.

Boldin made the front page on Yahoo. This was really a scathing article and if true, the plane has already crashed for Anquan and there is no recovery from this. Apology want get it on this one. We might be better off if he does not show up. Bolting out of the locker room while his teammates are celebrating the victory to the superbowl does not get it. It appears we have created a monster. There is more to being a great player than just catching the ball and running tough. This is still a team sport. We probably lost a lot of leverage on trading him now and he lost a lot of money. Who is going to give this guy a long term high dollar contract after his antics this year. Move over T.O. Following is the Yahoo article of who contributed least in the games yesterday. I was a big Anquan fan but sorry dude you sure lost me on this one. I know you know the word "I" or "me" but do you know the word "Team". You need to spend a few days with our very classy free safety and learn some humility.

I prefer to believe what Anquan has said with his own words, and what his coaches and teammates have to say about the situation, instead of what a bunch of internet shock story hacks think about the sittuation.

A whole lot about nothing. I think it may be time to take the guy off the cross.

While this distraction was completely unnecessary and troubling...the cussing out of the coach was one thing, but leaving the stadium early without celebrating with the team is another...and then the lame excuse...

Rugby is right...it's time to move on. Let it go.

I'm ok with this. It was wrong. The team (Haley, Whiz, Q, etc.) wants to move on. We should too. Not people putting F Anquan in their sigs.

Anquan can spin it any way he wants, but the fact is that he walked out of the stadium during the celebration with Drew Rosenhaus's arm around him. THAT IS A FACT and it looks really, really bad. This management doesn't mess around when it comes to this type of stuff. He'll get a Super Bowl ring in two weeks and a new uniform.

Great! So instead of us participating in the distraction maybe we should just do what Whiz and the rest of the team and management wants and let it be until the Super Bowl is over. Personally I think that Boldin will be traded during the off-season.

Who cares if he walked out with his agent? really does the team cares? I'm pretty sure his teammates if they have to choose over internet bloggers like us or the guy they fought the whole season with I'm pretty sure they will side with Q. Its done. Move on

The best way to let these threads die is to stop posting in them.

I count about 50 it's done posts, just saying

All these threads on Anquangate should be moved to the smack forum. That being said, I hope we draft another guy named Boldin that we can give #81.
