If you draft under the philosophy that the Cardinals are going no where in the future, why woud one want to draft a QB now. If the team sucks and you know it, rest assure they will be in position to draft a QB like Manning next year who isn't that shabby.

In the new world of the free swinging NFL, any team can't be counted out before the season like in baseball and I say Suggs would look great in Cardinal red. Even if Suggs records only seven sacks, that's like triple the production of any other player on the line now. Bryant will also get better and if he only records five sacks, add that to Suggs seven and you have major improvement on the Cardinal's line. I don't think the season is hopeless before it has begun.

You guys might be right, but it isn't written in stone... is it? If so, send me the commandment slab with "the Cardinals shall not win" and I won't even waste my time watching the draft and will save a lot of money on Direct TV.

I like Leftwich more than Manning. And there probably will be other good end prospects next year, and even in the later rounds this year. Antwan Peek would be a guy that will probably be a pretty good edge rusher THIS year.

I agree

If the Cardinals draft Leftwhich. I will be pleased. If the Cardinals draft Suggs, I would be really pleased. If the Cardinals do draft Leftwhich, I would love to see them go after a Peek or a Redding in RD 2. I would just rather see the Cardinals get a DE,CB and a WR in the first rounds. Yes, I think Leftwhich will be a good QB and I also think Suggs will be a good DE.

I don't watch a lot of college football, probably has something to do with the fact the MU Tigers stink year in and year out.

Anyhow, question for any of you that do watch a lot of college football.

I saw a game the year before last between Fresno State and Boise State so I could watch David Carr play a game. I was really impressed with Ryan Dinwiddie the QB for Boise State. I believe he will be a Junior next season.

Anybody have any opinions on an NFL career for Dinwiddie and if so is he good enough to go pro a year early?
