Why not bring in Jeff George. He played in two high powered offenses in the pros. At least he has posted the numbers to match his ego. (I'm only half joking. I have always been in awe of George's arm. I don't think he'd be such an outstanding influence on the babes in QB land that the Cards have, but dang he can throw a ball.)

He's not only an awful QB, he had surgery and missed this past season.

He was positively horrible before the surgery, the 49ers basically said "I sure hope he's hurt because if he isn't his arm is awfully weak."

Cade is a lefthanded Jake with a weaker arm, smaller brain, half the heart and twice the mouth.

Not to mention all the confusing with McNown and McCown on the same roster.

Round one Kelley Washington, round two Willis McGahee, round 3 Drew Henson, round 4 Jason Thomas(convert him to TE). If nothing else it will guarantee that ESPN is talking about us for the whole 2 days of the draft!

I think the Cardinals would be better off just drafting a QB and take their lumps letting him play and get experience. I can't see the Cardinals having a winning season in 2003 with any of these retreads, so if you're going to lose anyway, you might as well lose developing for the future the way Houston did with Carr last year. I know it's painful in the short-term, but I think the Cardinals would be better off for it in the long term. The Cardinals already wasted last year not giving McCown more playing time to develop. The only other route I would possibly look into would possibly be to make a trade with a 3rd or 4th round pick to the Eagles for A.J. Feeley who is young but at least has some experience, a strong arm, and a competitive fire that I like. I heard the Eagles want a 3rd round pick, not sure if it's true or not.
