Quan doesn't sound jealous about Fitz's deal on this quote from azcardinals.com......

“I think it is really big for any rookie to get into camp as soon as possible,” said fellow receiver Anquan Boldin. “Coming into a new system, a new atmosphere, I think it was really important for him to get in here and get comfortable. I think he did pretty good for his first day. He’s just trying to get his rhythm back with everyone else but I think for the most part, he did well out here. I’m glad they got things worked out and that he’s here now.”

He has no reason to be jealous. He will get his money!

Quan seems to be one of those players that puts playing (and winning) football games ahead of contract demands.

If Quan continues to play and produce the money thing will work itself out.

Fitz is a legitmate threat...

to the OTHER team. This is good news for Quan, last year he was THE threat other teams had to worry about, they can't ignore the "next Jerry Rice" and that means very few double teams for Quan.

Prediction: Good years for Quan and Fitz!
Assumption: Josh stays alive long enough to deliver the ball...

This makes me wonder about where Merril Hodge gets this whole dissention in the locker room over Fitz's contract. I mean, I haven't even seen anything on NFL Live about Kendall being released, hell, I haven't seen anything anywhere about that.

So where does Hodge get this information? He states it like he has inside information, yet basic news like a veteran linemen getting released doesn't get reported.

Maybe he had a personal problem with him always making jack compared to the rest of the RBs in Chi-Town etc.

I think he's just trying to create a story, and sound cool while getting his face time. But then again, I've never played in the NFL, maybe they are all whiney brats who just want the cash /shrug

Actually the Cards had stories 1 and 2 on espn news, 1st the Fitz contract, 2nd Kendall being cut and they also talked about Kendall being one of the guys that snitched off Green.
