Cause I cannot find it.

It would nice to see what DT's, MLB, and Offensive lineman could be available next year.

Pretty good list but, It look as if that list only includes UFA's and no RFA's or EFA'S. So keep that in mind.

Wow.

Some decent names but nothing that was too impressive.

Dennis has his work cut out for him.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a ton of OL as UFA. :(

Here's the guys I think we ought to really take a long, hard look at, assuming they hit the market (many won't). I've bolded the guys that meet what I see as becoming pressing needs, better than average talent and/or could fit into what we do (or don't do, maybe more accurately):

Dale Carter CB
Will Demps FS
Ma'ake Kemoeatu DT
Jamal Lewis RB
Tommy Polley LB
Chester Taylor RB
Nate Clements CB
Josh Reed WR
Trey Teague T
Jon Kitna QB
Nate Webster LB
Ray Mickens CB
Billy Miller TE
Monsanto Pope DT
Lenny Walls CB** (we should be looking at him right now)
David Carr QB
Jabar Gaffney WR
Victor Riley T
Rocky Calmus LB
Edgerrin James RB
Larry Tripplett DT
Reggie Wayne WR
Akin Ayodele LB
Terry Cousin CB
Mike Pearson T
Tony Richardson FB
DeWayne Washington CB
Jesse Chatman RB
Stockar McDougle T
Seth McKinney C
Lance Schulters FS
David Givens WR
Steve Neal G
Chad Scott CB
John Abraham DE
Charles Woodson CB

Also, looking at the list of Cardinals that may be hitting the market, I don't think we'd really miss many of them at all. JR Redmond would be nice to have back. As would Warner if he can stay healthy, but even if we lose those guys we won't take a huge step backwards. None of the "key" players seem to be on there.

I'm assuming we'll hget a deal done with Rackers, of course.

The 2 names that jump out at me there are

LeCharles Bentley C
Steve Hutchinson G

I doubt either of them really get to FA but if the do, I'd love either or both of them.

Bentley seems the most likely to reach FA, in July his agent came out and said we have no intention of holding out, he has a contract, we'll honor it. If they make us a fair offer we'll be willing to work out a new contract befitting his ability that's great, if not we'll be a FA on March 1st. Doesn't sound like he's hell bent on leaving but apparently the talks to date have not been very productive. Bentley is a terrific run blocker but everything I read says the Saints want to keep him so they probably will.

Yep Rackers is the only one who is a must. Darling would be nice for depth and JR given another chance. Femi has lost his luster so I could care less if he leaves or stays.

We will have some RFA's to deal with though.

RFA's -
Kenny King DT
Gerald Hayes LB
Reggie Wells G
Langston Moore DT

Let's sign Orlando Ruff from the Browns and put him in the game with Orlando Huff..... It would be suttle irony that could win us some games!!!

Fred McCrary then. We need a blocking fullback that stays healthy.

Any interest in Jamal Lewis??

My short list-
OG-LeCharles Bentley (because Hutch will be franchised)
OG/OT-Terrance Metcalf-like him out of college and plays multiple positions
DT-Grady Jackson-as big as they get in the middle
RB-Veron Hayes (he is a good change of pace)
LB-Nate Webster (let him battle it out with Blackstock and Darling)

There it is-building the middle of the team.

I think getting this guys is not only realistic, it could be huge for us.

I've never thought he was that good.

One of the best FAs on that list is Chris Hope, he is a top 5 FS right now and is easily outplaying Polamalu. I will be astounded if he hits the FA market, but if he does the Cards should pick him up. Same with Deshea Townsend, he is my favorite player nd is an astounding corner. The Steelers might just let him go because McFadden and Coclough are developing very quickly, mainly McFadden.

Keith Adams would be a great pick-up and so would Runyan.
