What if this guy pulls out of the draft, or say someone like him buys out his international contract, or is a free agent in Europe, or wherever. Couldn't the Suns just sign the guy off the street? For some Euros who may go late in the draft, they may make more money signing with a team off the street than going through the draft. Or let's say BC is strolling the beach in New Zealand and finds an 8 foot tall Maori that weighs 350 pounds and is as agressive as a pit bull. Couldn't BC just sign a check and bring the guy in to play for the Suns?

One of the top PG's in Europe is that guy who played for the Isreali team who is 26. If he can get out of his contract, he could get some attention this summer.

I think the Suns bringing Koturovic over last year was the kind of signing Yuma is asking about... he was about 28, if I recall correctly.

netdraft.net used to have a listing of the over 22 players in Europe, and a write up on each.

I have not been able to find it since they changed their site.
If anyone finds it would you post it here?
Thanks, sunsfn

Do you mean nbadraft.net? The site is the same, but once in a while it disappears briefly for some reason. I've had the same problem. Just try again a little while later.

Whoops! Yes nbadraft.net.
I have tried many times in the last week, but am going back frequently. There are a number of links that have never worked since the new site.
(those at the bottom of the page)

Ah, right, I hadn't noticed those on the bottom of the page before. They don't work for me either. But if you click on the names of players, you get small write-ups on them. It's possible you need to be a paid subscriber to get the other stuff now.

They seem to be putting more and more stuff in their "paid" area. I find I'm using draftcity.com and nbadraft.tk more for that reason.

You know what? nbadraft.net is a good site. Most of us have been going there for years, and gotten a lot of good information from them and found it interesting and useful.

Their membership price ($39.95/yr) is reasonable. If you’ve been finding value in the site, why not pay them back for their work?

I haven't really found it that useful, actually. It has always struck me as poorly researched and rather carelessly put together. To me it is miles behind draftcity -- that's a site I could conceivably seem myself supporting financially. Nbadraft.net is on the same level as hoopsworld, giving the impression of one or two high-school kids running it out of their bedrooms.

But that's just my opinion.
