Question about portable dvd player adapters

I want to buy a car adapter for my portable dvd player.

The kind I need is: PANASONIC DY-DC95

I checked with eBay and what I found was this . Now, the ones that are in the 30 bucks range, or those still OK to get - because they dont look like the "real" one I should get (which is in the 90 dollar range).

Anyone have any advice on if I should go with the cheaper kind that doesnt really look like the one panasonic would say to go with or with the more expensive, more "safe" looking one?

I never have any issues with aftermarket adapters like this

I have no shame, I buy aftermarket, refurbished items..... I'd say go for it

Kate, Buy a cheap power inverter. One that turns the cigg lighter into a normal AC outlet. the good thing about getting one of those is A: you can use them with other things and B: They will definately work. With the one on Ebay, you are taking a chance it won't have the correct voltage, ect.

well crap, too late.

oh well, i dont care. if this one turns out to be a nutjob then i'll just look into getting the real one.. i just didnt have the 90 bucks to plop down right now. i've got me a long roadtrip comin up so i needed something quick!
