As stated before, the parking passes are based more on how long you've had tickets. I've had four tickets for 11 years and received an Orange pass. I added some tickets two years ago (in a new account) and those only were worthy of Brown (they were not club level). One reason I ended up dropping the additional tickets is that we couldn't tailgate together. I had one Orange pass and one Brown pass for 8 tickets!! It would have required renting a passenger van each week to get all people in the Orange lot on the Great Lawn with the single pass.
Of course, the ticket marketing people probably don't realize things like this. Parking passes are probably just as important as the seats themselves.
