Well, I'm sure '99 hurt a lot worse after the success of '98 and it's going to sting even worse now to sink back down(if that happens).

It sucks when you're always bad but eventually you go numb and get used to hoping you'll win but accepting that it probably won't happen. But then to be the king of the division and NFC playoff contenders...the pill gets a lot harder to swallow.

Hopefully for the Cardinals, Whis is as good as I think he is.

I really dont miss the days of being the only Cardinals fan at a bar in Phoenix. I sat thru hot days at SDS out numbered by Cowhags and Raiders fans. All I want to know is if the ones that only came here because of Warner would have my back when a cowboy fan dumps beer on me at a game, when the raiders fan tries to piss on my leg at the urinals, when a broncos fan gets in my face and tries to fight me. That is all I want to know, dont take offense, you havent lived thru it like so many of us have. Let me tell you, IT SUCKS. Feeling like you are the away team at a home game is not the way to go through a football season. So man up, buy another players jersey and support this F'ng team!!!!!!

With all that said I dont think this team is going to regress like that, it was just what came to my mind first.

No, you're projecting what you think onto what you're (mis)reading.

All I've said is that there is a chance the Cardinals are going to have to deal with a transitional period with so many potential and realized departures at key positions.

The only negative thing that I've posted that I can think of is not liking how Warner decided to handle the last few days before he officially announced his retirement. I don't even know what else there could have been that sent you off on one of your anti-me rants.
