The free agency/ cap woes of Seattle may make Lucas available to us. With Lucas and Starks, I’m not sure we need Rolle or Pac-Man. If Johnson is already gone, as this mock suggests, we are looking at OL or DE. If the BPA matches an area of need, then so much the better.

Agree with half of it. The more I look at it, DE looks to be the way to go unless Denny sees a DT he likes. Only the QBs and RBS look good enough to me to take at the 8 hole unless we dump Clement and then a RT becomes a real possibility.

If there was a DT that was worth the #8 pick we would probably take him. If Denny wants to draft another Darnell Dockett type there is Florida State DT Travis Johnson. I don't see any top rated run stuffers in this draft that will be drafted in the top ten. I also don't see any offensive linemen that are worth a top ten pick. I think we will go after an OT in free agency before we take one in the draft. If Barron or Jamaal Brown were to fall to our pick in the second round then I would say yea.

No matter how bad this draft is, Alex Barron is not a top ten pick.
