This week has been quite for the cards. They lost a player and haven't signed anyone. I'd figured we at least see some resignings, but nope.

I don't worry about it until game 1. Too much happens between now and the end of training camp to make emphatic statements on how a team will do. Even then, you risk looking like a moron when you make predictions as the NFL is more unpredictable than any other professional league.

I like Keim's approach of waiting til the last minute when guys start to panick and sign for less. You can sign the one $6 mil guy now. But then you're done. Or wait and get 2 or 3 semi comparable guys for the same $6 mil. It seems like it's worked in the past.

We did a lot more early, still digesting it. 2 lineman, 2 QBs - wonder if Wilks has a philosophy yet ?

It's all leftovers now. Players are muling over what their true market value is. Who has money to give to Suh now? Who wants to break the bank on someone who broke the bank?

At this point, the philosophy seems to be committing to the run in a way that you may actually not despise, dare I say even mildly acceptable.

the flurry is over, the marquee signings are done. things may trickle in prior to the draft but from here on out you mostly see prove it contracts.

IE: Tramon Williams wants more than last year but no one has signed him soooooo

That's the resigning I'm really hoping for.
