Michigan State has over 30 official visits currently lined up to take place in the coming months, really putting an emphasis on recruiting the 2026 class. While Jonathan Smith has made it a point to recruit Michigan and the Midwest, the Spartans are still going national with their recruiting efforts.

The Spartans have dipped into California to start recruiting offensive line prospect Quinn Buckey, a 6'5", 270 pound tackle from Bakersfield, California. He plays his high school football at Liberty High School.

A 3-star prospect, Buckey and the Spartans have scheduled a rare Spring official visit with each other. The California offensive line prospect will be arriving on campus on April 11.

Other than Michigan State, Buckey has scheduled visits with Arizona, Cal, Oklahoma State, UCLA and Vanderbilt.
