Hes pretty freaking good. If you don't take Murray, you have to consider taking him.

I think he most naturally slides in and is the best fit for the 2019 Cardinals.

I have some doubt. He`s good but has some questions.Check out his writeup on NFL.com.They have questions about his strength, ability to hold up versus double teams and several other questions.

Read Aaron Donald's from Nfl.com:

http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/Aaron-Donald?id=2543485

WEAKNESSES
Marginal height and frame is nearly maxed out. Hands are more active than strong -- could play with more pop and power. Overpowered in the run game and ground up by double teams. Gets snared and controlled by bigger, longer blockers. Not a two-gap player. Has some tweener traits -- lacks ideal length and bend to play outside.

DRAFT PROJECTION

Rounds 4-5

and this pertains to Williams how? You are saying NFL.com has misjudged before and I agree.I bring it up because they do list strengths /weakness in their view for every potential draft pick. All the top guys have legit pros/cons...I just hope the Cards decide on the right one.My choice is Bosa.

I like Q but is he better suited for a 4 - 3 defense as a DT than a NT or DE in the Cards 3 - 4?? Note that are going back to a 3 - 4 defense. I don't think he is big enough to be a Nose tackle and I'm not sure about him as a defensive end.

Agree. There seem to be questions about his ability to hold up versus NFL players strength.Like you said..Can he be a 3-4 DE? I have questions about that. Can he fit in different 3-4/4-3 packages? Same with Bosa. Not really knocking Q.Williams here just questioning his fit.

I am not a football expert but he seems the most effective over the C or in A gap. Not a traditional 340 pound NT but dude is the new DT (like Darnold). If I am not mistaken, Darnold plays DT in a 3-4 and is very effective.

Agreed. My point is every prospect has pro/cons. They were wrong about Aaron Donald (big time) and have really missed on guys taken in the top 5 as 10 year franchise LT's.

Every NFL team is wrong multiple times per year as well. Tough business.

That`s for sure.Drafting Olinemen has been a real crapshoot lately. Some big failures and some later round guys who stepped up bigtime.

The Aaron Donald example is another reason I question these choices.Every team looks for the next Aaron Donald/The next Generational QB (Murray?)/the next great passrushingOLB/etc etc;
How often does that happen? Not often. So I guess my question is this....Is it worth taking a shot at finding one of the said potential Generational star talents or making the generally safer choice ? IN my way of thinking I take the safer choice (Potential Pro-Bowler talent Bosa).Of course Vance Joseph could likely scheme fit either Bosa or Q.Williams at several spots in different packages.

I question Q’s strength and conditioning. He has no where the same physique has Aaron Donald. He’s more like Fletcher Cox, although one could argue than Cox is more athletic and more powerful. Q’s best trait is hand usage and technique.

If you want an Aaron Donald type player, then Ed Oliver is your guy.

Best prospect since Suh.

Remember, Donald wasn’t THAT highly touted coming out of Pitt.

The Cardinals really liked Donald.

Ran him through an individual workout. They thought he might be able to play OLB in the 3-4. Never got a shot at him though.

I brought the same things up last and also wondered about Williams toughness …...Didn`t get received well by several.Williams seems like a big nice kid.I also wondered if he gets paid will he have the dedication to get in NFL shape and stay in shape or will he be like Wendell Bryant and get lazy after he got paid. Not picking on the kid but just a legit concern.Like I said ..he comes acroos as a happy easy going kid in his interviews.Does he have the mean streak to be really good?

Ed Oliver did some LB drills at the combine IIRC.He said no problem. Not a big Ed Oliver fan after the Coach incident but his willingness to try another position was good. a step in the right direction.Showed he would be willing to be flexible for the team.Good sign.

Wendell Bryant's problem was drugs.

He partied a lot. Lots of ecstasy from what I understand.

Sounds about right. The most dominant DT in the league and we wanted to make him an OLB. :)

Suggs said (Cardinal press conference/interview) he was an immature kid coming out of Arizona St and he learned to "be a dog" from Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, etc.

I think Williams would be fine as a 3-4 DE. you can even argue it made Donald even more dominant. Going to be in nickel most of the time anyway.

People are making comparisons for other players of dominance in the league, so why not him and sure all these prospects might fall short to say the least but Williams could be as special too and he has become the player which could possibly ensure our defense can win the battle in the trenches. I like him as our first pick in the draft without moving out
