It's getting old. Fast.

Give me a break, what other coach on the face of this PLANET could do anything with the lousy amount of talent on this team?

Coach Mac doesn't own the checkbook. Granted, he doesn't always make the best decisions, but I don't place the blame on him. Blame can always return to one word. Bidwill.

I'm with O.

Mac should have cut Marmie last year, his failure to do so results in a horrendous defense. When our offense plays a close to mistake free game, then our defense will really show how bad they are.

After the disaster today I don't think anybody job is safe. Mac has not put a winning team out there yet and so far he get's no credit for anything. But neither does anyone else. I thought we had a 7-9 team but I think we will be lucky to win one game this year after watching today's game.

I've actually been a HUGE Mac fan... but constant mental errors are a coaching problem, not a talent problem. He seems to be getting sucked into a hole, and it isn't good.

Yep one thing is for sure coaching is not part of the solution. Talent may or may not be there but I do know that coaching is not.

What if we didn't have Mac, the great motivator? And, players that love to play for him? I mean, we might have come out flat today and that game get ugly if it wasn't for Mac and his "kind of players.".

Being prepared is more of a motivator in the long run. I hope he corrects the problem. I like Coach Mac.

Sorry, Seattle Guy. I've been a big supporter of Mac since we hired him, but I don't agree that lack of talent is doing us in.

We're not even close to the point where we can point the finger at lack of talent for costing us games.

Mistakes (mostly mental and not physical) are killing us. If we were just to make no more mistakes than our opponents did, we'd be competitive in both ballgames.

Getting the guys we've got not to commit dumb penalties, get the play off late, fail to execute a simple pitchout, put the ball on the ground or throw picks is the responsibility of the coaching staff. (If doing reps at midnight is what it takes to eliminate mistakes, then that's what the coaches should do).

Frankly, I don't think replacing Mac is necessarily the answer (replace him with who?). But not to hold him accountable for his team's sloppy play would be equally wrong.

One other thing we ought to consider - Some of those fumbles (and injuries) on pass receptions occurred because the QB hung the receiver out to dry by leading him right into lethal hits by the DB. That's a function either of play design or read-progressions (i.e. coaching). Anyone else see that?

I also thought sullivan for whatever reason took a step back in the play calling department..he was decent in the preaseason and in the detroit game..not sure what happened today...although there were so many other problems it will probably be overlooked... what happened to using hodgins? what happen to mixing it up to get the defense off guard? probable reasons (or excuses):

1. blake went down and he only felt comfortable having mccown doing simple plays.
2. we got so far behind in the 2nd quarter that the game plan went out the window.
3. 2 of our 4 receivers were inactive last week (mcaddley on inactive list and poole off roster) and the other 2 receivers are rookies.

whatever...at least they got the plays in on time for the most part...

All I want to know is what happened to the team we saw in preseason? Now before you all get your jumping shoes on, I realize preseason is preseason! But all these things, getting plays in on time, discipline lack of pentalties and turnovers. Not to mention the fast and swarming defense we thought we had!

Where did all of that GOOOOOOOOOO?

Yeah I noticed that too right from pass one. Could explain why are recievers are dropping like flies.

Blakes first pass to Johnson should not have been thrown it was the first play of the game a veteran reciever would have kicked his arse for that.

He threw into basic triple coverage and left him hung out for death. I saw it last game too it's probably a function of Sullivan being new and Blake trying to impress and rookies who don't know any better but to try to catch the thing.

the Cardinals have more talent than what they've shown these first two games. Mental mistakes and lack of preparation are the responsibility of the Head Coach. I like Coach Mac. He was given a 4 yr contract. I think a total rebuilding job like Mac had takes 4 yrs. And, right now, I want to give it to him. But, if they can't do any better than this! I am not yet about the won - loss record, but they are getting getting blown out!

This is sarcasm, I assume.
