Risen.

I am not off the Whis as coach bandwagon (and never will be) but I am definitely of the camp that he MUST relinquish playcalling duties. I thought before that he was ok doing both, not great and possibly good but definitely ok. He's not ok doing both. He can do either at a high level, and I'd prefer he do the HC job at the high level instead of HC and OC at mediocre level.

Neither DA or Hall are the answers right now. Whiz' playcalling and QB decisions are really making me question his ability.

Ditto that. And where is his accountability? I have yet to hear him accept any blame for this crap.

screw it, I am in. if fitz and breaston both end up gone, good luck Cards getting me to ever buy season tickets again

We need to resign Breaston because I truly believe (and have for weeks now) that Fitz is likely leaving.

All of the fans knew - RUN THE BALL. :bang:

We really need an OC, IMHO.

I was screaming it at the top of my lungs. Ridiculous.

And today on Doug and Wolf, they asked Whiz about not running the ball when we were down in the red zone at the end of the fourth with a chance to tie it up. To me, it sounded like he was kinda pissed off about being asked the question. He accepted no blame for the play call. He even acted like, in hindsight, it's easy to make a running play call. No, coach, it's easy to make that call in REAL time.

we got 1 more week before I buy my ticket. We suck and there is no denying that. The coaching staff is HORRIFIC.... But if we win next week and the Rams lose..we are tied for the division lead. 4-5 might lead the division. Where is Chris Collinsworth when you really need him.

Hard to be positive for sure. If we are going to have a losing season this year--and it looks likely--Whisenhunt has through 2011 to fix it before I turn on him (that is assuming no lock out/strike).

DArkside, all day with DA. He showed he cam make throws, but then he gets so shook he blows any chance. He gets too many pass attempts every game, we never commit to the run.:(

How you or anyone can still make this assertion with all the bad choices this coach has made not to mention his horrific in game playcalling is beyond me. The choice to go with DA/Hall as the Qb is up there with any bad decision Buddy Ryan or Dave Mac ever made. His choice to have Bill Davis as DC is as bad or worse than any choice any coach we have ever had has made. His playcalling (which I have said since he came here is not NFL quality)is major headscratching. Warner must have been changing the play everytime a call was made, the play calling is that bad. Warner, Haley, Boldin, Fitz, took us to the Super Bowl despite a horrible headcoaching job with a talented team. There were only two of us calling for this guys head back then me and SWD1974 while the rest have slowly got a clue. He is not a good head coach and without a HOF offensive lineup (Which he could only get 10 wins a season out of because of poor game management) he trys to rely on smoke and mirrors with the players he has chosen. He is just that bad IMO and even though we have no choice but to root for the Cards. He needs to go.

That is all your opinion, I am not one to think Whisenhunt is infallible but I don't think he is 100% to blame for everything either. If he goes in to next season without an OC, without a new DC or addressing the QB problem that will be the most damning thing he can do. A coach can make mistakes, learn from them and get better. 5 of Belichicks first 6 seasons as a HC he had a losing record, he was fired and obviously learned from his mistakes. If Whisenhunt isn't smart enough to learn or is too arrogant to accept he has made mistakes then he is done...I just am not ready to write him off yet--you are that is fine but your opinion doesn't change my mind or make it any less relevant.

DA sucks. Receivers are turning into contortionists out there just to haul in what should be a simple pass. Fitz was wide open once but had to twist backwards and fall to the ground just to make the catch. 16 or 17 yard gain, but it would have been a lot more if a qb was back there that could hit him in stride. Many wide open looks and the balls were underthrown, overthrown, or completely off the mark.

It makes me sick when the announcers praise DA or say "This looks more like the DA that was a Pro-Bowler for the Browns." What game are they watching?

I hear that. He is not good. He may be a great guy, but he is not a great football player.

I got the pamphlet a few games back, but I'm ready to book my seat now.
