prior to the season I put down $100 that we would win 10 games or more. I thought it was a gimme. I was tempted to put over a thousand on it. glad I did not.

Obviously now with palmer out and stanton in our game plan should be different
Probably a more running offense
San francisco at now is the worst defense against the run
But things can change when u have a passing game that is a liability
Dont know but with stanton we are very predictable

not dark yet for me, but there definitely be storm clouds on the horizon.

I blame this all on you cheesy one. You being on the brightside & being a company man has thrown the whole universe out of whack. The whole space time continuum thing & other scientific mojo stuff is in complete disarray because you haven't been a darksider damnit. Get it together cheese for cripes sake. :)

If they lose this week, I think they've lost too much ground for the playoffs; if they win, it's a new hope.

The Seahawks have what suddenly looks like a tough matchup against Atlanta, although it's outside in Seattle. Then the Cardinals have the Seahawks at home the following week. They could conceivably be tied at 3-3 atop the NFCW depending on what the Rams do.

The NFC wild card race is pretty wide open this early in the season. Dallas and Seattle are the only non-division leaders sitting at 3-1.

I really do think the Cards need to bear SF, Seattle, and then avenge themselves in Carolina to really get back into things. It's a tall order, but we'll see.

Bad season. Time to restock around David Johnson and it starts with OL and QB.

Yes but no NFC team is scary....we can beat any of them home or away in the playoffs. Dallas would be scary if they played Romo because he would have a deep threat and it would be hard to put 8 in the box. But all we need to do is get in. 9-6-1 may do that butn10-5-1 for sure will...we are a half game out right now....plenty of time and everyone plays everyone

Hire Josh McDaniels as the new HC. He is going to get another chance. Might as well be here.

I never would have believed it before the season. So disappointing.

I didn't think I'd be looking at potential draft picks before Thanksgiving much less Halloween. During preseason I had us winning 6-7 games , I am starting to think that was generous

I expected to lose both Seattle and Carolina at the onset of the season, ST cost us the Seattle game (and NE) - this loss was pretty much expected after the tie last weekend with Carolina coming off a bye and our weakness against the read option (especially because we have a weak interior LB crew still).

I am sticking with my 9-7 prediction (or 9-6-1 now)

serious question - are dark times upon us for a few years until we find/draft/develop a QB? don't exactly think we can rely on Palmer for the next 2-3 like we thought

Depends on whether we go the rookie path or the veteran path. Can we catch lightning in a bottle with another veteran? Matt Stafford maybe? Or will we find another Derek Anderson? The window closes rather quickly, so it would be hard to imagine this team as it is would want to groom a rookie and go through some potentially rough seasons (not that this season is great).

Really frustrating that we have glaring problems and they never seem to be addressed - no changes are made. Special teams just gets worse each year, for example.

Fix the real issues in OL and STs first and Palmer will look a hell of a lot better! Maybe use a late pick to get a young QB to begin grooming into Arians system or Stafford would be awesome as well.

I hate that I can see, far off in the distance over the horizon, the three words "Same old Cards" lurking. We're not there yet, and we're not close to there yet, but...BUT...we are teetering on the edge of a slippery slope that will lead us there. If BASK doesn't wake up and smell the coffee, and if Bidwill let them turn a blind eye, it won't be long in coming. And I do NOT want to return to the "Same old Cards." I don't WANT to be back on the dark side. Well, at least I'm 1-1...for now.

We suck. There's nothing but full on suckitude and darkside. People who were pretending a game or two ago that we were good just piss me off. This or that is so easy. I just want to punch them in their nuts.
