If Anquan Boldin scored more TDs, the Cardinals would win more games, and he'd probably be in the Pro Bowl. Sadly, that hasn't been the case.

Larry Fitzgerald scores TDs. It's easy to rack up a lot of catches and yards when your team passes 45 times a game. Scoring TDs is always hard. That's why #11 is in the Pro Bowl, along with Torry "Big Game" Holt and Steve "I'm the Best All-Around WR in the NFL" Smith, and #81 will be watching on T.V. at home.

Your post is ridiculous considering Fitz has 8 TDs a whopping 2 more than Boldin yet Boldin missed 2 full games. Odds are boldin would have at least 1 more TD. To say Fitz is MUCH BETETR at getting to the endzone based on this years stats is just plain ignorant.

You have been nothing but wrong about Boldin since he came into the league and it obviously hurts you inside for him to prove to you your wrong. Ya know like "he's still riding the coatails of his rookie season!"

Where did I say that? I've never said that Q was average. Ever. But he wasn't even the best WR to be slighted for the Pro Bowl this season in the NFC. Joey Galloway was.

Anquan isn't even the best #2 WR in the NFL.

Find one post, ever, where I said Anquan was "average".

First of all saying Boldin is a #2 is laughable. If anything Fitz is probably the #2. In eiatehr case htough I woudl sure like to hear you think is a legitimate #2 WR and is also better than Boldin! I need a good :biglaugh:

It's not only about rank. It's about wins, points, and value. Galloway is more important to the success of a winning team in Tampa than Boldin has been to a 4-10 season in Phoenix. That's that long and the short of it.

And you can't write off the fact that Boldin is an injury case. I've never said that Fitz is "much better" than Boldin at scoring points, I've just said that he is better, and the stats seem to bear that out.

What's Boldin v. Galloway on YPC? Who's handicapped more by their QBs? Let me know.

Joe already pointed out all the ways that Fitz is the #1 WR for this team. I don't really feel the need to elaborate on it. If nothing else, the coaches and players around the NFL illustrated it, as well.

Reggie Wayne is a better #2 than Boldin. Houshmanzadeh and Donald Driver are right on his tail. If Norv Turner had ever figured out an offense, Jerry Porter would have been close, as well.

It's easy for Anquan to put up big stats when the Cards throw 40+ times a game. We'll see what happens when we can run the ball 30 times a game. I'm betting that Fitz's TDs go way up and Anquan's receptions go way down.

What do you base Reggie Wayne being better on? No way Driver or Housh are even close.

Bottom line is that Warner clearly looks to Boldin and relies on him moreso than Fitz. I could care less what DC's say. Boldin is easily Warners #1 target. Thus this teams #1 WR. Check recpetions and yards over the last 6 games and try and tell me otherwise.

Boldin and Fitz are both Pro Bowl caliber receivers. They should both be in, but given that the Cardinals have a poor reputation and there's not much national media attention -- we have the result we have.

The more ffotball I watch the more players I see getting gypped. It is pretty bad some of the players that were left off and some that were put on these rosters.

So teams that don't win a lot of games should not have players in the pro-bowl? By that logic Barry Sanders was not a good player 'cause the Lions never won anything.

Wins and TDs require a full team effort (well, maybe not some of the ones that Boldin made the highlight shows for...). The pro-bowl is the only chance for good players on struggling teams to get some recognition. Wins and losses should absolutely not come into play for this award.

In the end, the voting is half a popularity contest. Same with every sport and their all-star selection process.

"• I don't know what's the bigger joke: The NFL informing the Colts that offensive tackle Tarik Glenn had made his first Pro Bowl, only to rescind the honor away a couple hours later due to a "tabulation error,'' or that Glenn ultimately lost out to Baltimore's perennial Pro Bowl tackle Jonathan Ogden, who was nowhere near his usual all-star form this season and went on reputation alone."
