He SUCKS all the way... I feel sick and I blame Rackers right now for how I feel right now. I don't care what anyone says on this board and I don't care what happens rest of the season, he is COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE!!!!

He is a kicker, for crying out loud. 55 yards is not big for a kicker with his leg especially if the game is on the line. He corrects his technique of going wide left all the time.

And he supposedly has one of the best legs in the league. He can kick it far.... yay?

I never expect him to make those anymore. The one vs. SEA was a shock.

The Cards board is loaded with the same type of posts. Rackers does a lot of good but when the $$$ is on the line in a big game like today- that kick is extremely makeable for him. Gotta make it- period. He made a 60 yd FG off the dirt in OAK in pre-season. That game & kick meant nothing.

That's right. Just give a pass to the two interceptions and one fumble and blame this on the kicker. Did you even watch the game?

55 Yard Attempt[/size]

So what? A miss is a miss. We needed that one!

He's not the only goat though. The Skins should've had a FG, not a TD with Dockett's ******** penalty. And, then Levi got burned by Carter and Warner fumbled. We should've at least got a FG there.

That's seven points.

Don't blame Rackers - it was his obligatory missed FG of the game. I blame Whiz - he should have had Rackers miss one earlier so that this one was assured....

Seriously though - he does need to work on his technique - we're tough on him because we know what he can do - if he doesn't live up to his potential, we should be hard on him.

Rackers - we know you can do better. We know you can make those kicks. We know that this loss isn't on your shoulders alone, however, fix your damn technique!

Are you dumb? Who is giving the pass to anyone... but when a player has game in his hand to make a play and does not, that is all we are talking about right now.

I'm smart enough to know it isn't Rakers fault. He can within 6 inches of winning it. We should have won by 10 points and would have if it weren't for the penalties and turnovers.

During the course of the game several things happen that everyone can say woulda, coulda, shoulda. The bottom line is even with the mistakes we made the defense and offense put us in a position to win the game during the last seconds and the kicker blew it.

Correct. Stupid penalties cost the Cards this game.

See, I agree with you. We should have been in the victory formation. But he still had the chance to save the day. From God to Goat, we live and die by the kicker. Only problem is, ours looks good as a goat it seems.

Earlier, you said you didn't care what anybody on this board had to say???.

Might want to go back an edit your earlier post.

If it wasn't for the interception returned for a TD, we would have won it also and you can put that squarely on the offense. The defense played awesome today.

I don't blame him for the loss but we've seen this before, when the game is on the line you can't rely on rackers. We need to get to the point where we aren't in so many close games where we need him to come through, and I mean have bigger leads, not be further behind.

I agree. The blocked extra point can also be pointed at. But we were still in a position to make one last play to win the game which is doable for NFL kickers and we didn't.

What the heck? It was a 55 yard attempt, and it had the leg, just missed by 3 feet. Any NFL kicker has maybe a 20% chance of making it. Who do you suggest replacing him with? If the Cards still had Bill Grammatica, they would have thrown the Hail Mary.

If the kick was for 35 yards, then blame him as a choker, but to expect an automatic hit from 55 is nuts.

Plus, he got into a fight. I still like Rackers.

It's frustrating to see a rookie like Folk nail one from that distance TWICE. And, have our guy miss it. Things never change, I guess.
