Are you dumb? Who is giving the pass to anyone... but when a player has game in his hand to make a play and does not, that is all we are talking about right now.
I'm sorry 40. I did not mean it.

I'm just not feeling too good.

If it wasn't for the interception returned for a TD, we would have won it also and you can put that squarely on the offense.
Oh, BS. You're really trying to argue that the rest of the game would have gone exactly as it did after that play if it wasn't intercepted?

Rackers' miss cost the Card's the game. If he makes it, it's a win. If he doesn't, it's a loss. You can't say that about any other play during the game.

Bironas set an NFL record today with 8 FG's for the Titans including a game winner from 29. the co holder of the old record with 7 was Jim Bakken of the old St. Louis Cards who didn't have nearly as strong a leg as Rackers does. But Bakken sure seemed to be a hell of a lot more reliable in the clutch.

I'm not sure.Has Rackers ever made a game winning kick for the Cards when they were trailing and he needed it for the win? I know he's made them whwne we were tied but how about when losing?

What the heck? It was a 55 yard attempt, and it had the leg, just missed by 3 feet. Any NFL kicker has maybe a 20% chance of making it. Who do you suggest replacing him with? If the Cards still had Bill Grammatica, they would have thrown the Hail Mary.

If the kick was for 35 yards, then blame him as a choker, but to expect an automatic hit from 55 is nuts.

Plus, he got into a fight. I still like Rackers.

The percentage is higher than 20% this year. Longwell kicked one that far last week for Minny. Kris Brown nailed one for the Texans from that far. Folk made one for the Cowboys and Elam for the Broncos, both over 50 yards. Rackers missed one and Janikowski missed one for the Raiders.

Kickers are much, much better than they were 20 years ago. It's time to up your expectationbs.

No, Rackers did not cost us the game. He still sucks in clutch situations though. You have to know it would have been different if Kurt and DD didn't help the team lose. They accounted for 12 points for the other team. 12 points. 14 with the extra points. I am not a mathematician, but I am pretty sure we would have won.

Should he have made it? Yes. Do I blame him much for missing it? No. It was a very tough kick.

He still put the Cards in a position to win. It just didn't work out.

Yeah. Exactly.

There are so many players we could blame for the loss. Without Dockett's pile on penalty, the Skins would have kicked the field goal instead of scoring the TD. That's just one thing.

Football is a team sport. This team lost.

rackers should have made the kick, but HIS HOLDER SUCKS!!!!!! how many kicks have been missed or blocked because of poor holds? Rackers gets a new holder after a perfect preseason and starts missing kicks. Blame rackers its his job to be the goat, but fix the problem.

oh, and bironas had 8 fgs, four are from 28 and in. rackers kicks only 40 and out...heck 50 and out.

another perfect onside kick - we would not have been kicking the fg if not for the onside kick.

Is the percentage over 50% from 54 yards plus? If so, then I stand corrected.

It's frustrating to see a rookie like Folk nail one from that distance TWICE. And, have our guy miss it. Things never change, I guess.

I don't know what you do great kickers aren't sitting around unemployed, so cutting Neil makes no sense. But the book on him before we got him was huge leg, unreliable . Since we've got him he's gotten better but he's still great until the game is on the line, and then not very good.

One of the reasons you keep a guy with a great leg is so he can make big deep kicks, he misses more than he makes in that situation.

Obviously if Q makes a better throw or if Warner doesn't turn the ball over so often or if this or that can go on all day. We can argue if 7 seconds is enough time to go ahead and throw once more before kicking but I think most of us were thinking kick it just like Whiz.

We're very close the problem is at least for me those losses hurt even more.

I actually thought we should have tried one more play, but I'm sure I was in the minority. If Warner had been sacked, or a WR tackled in bounds, Whis would've been crucified. Still, 5 more yards would've made the difference.

Wouldn't a false start have ended the game too?

Yes, it would've. It would've been a risky call, no doubt. But, he showed the willingness to take risks hasn't he?

Def should have run another play.

Dammit, why didn't Gibbs call a timeout . Maybe to save us from having to watch Rackers miss it twice :p.

If he sucked at onside kicks, no one would be able to bust his balls about missing 55 yarders lol.

nick folk just missed one badly from 50 - he must suck now huh?
you're missing the point. Folk has already won a game with the last second kick.Nobody is ever going to make all their 50+ yard FG attempts. Still, has Rackers made ONE with the Cards trailing and the game on the line?
