FYI the claim is that JaMarcus Russell just bought a house in the Oakland Hills which has people thinking he may be getting really close to signing. He won't move in until he signs but he's apparently been staying with Cal WR Robert Jordan off and on while waiting for the contract(so he could be in town) and Jordan told the SJ Merc that he'd just closed on a house.

So the Raiders QB situation could really shake up again soon. One wonders if they will cut Walter I can't imagine him being PS eligible after last year?

I just think he's a bit too eager to throw the ball up for grabs, I realize the OL was REALLY bad last year but it was like watching a freshman HS football team at times he would feel the rush and just throw the ball blindly to avoid getting hit. Great arm when healthy but he appeared to have absolutely zero pocket presence.

No Russell was staying at JOrdan's house, not the other way around. Jordan's family is from the area, Hayward I think I forget. I have no idea how they know each other Russell is a Southern kid, but apparently they are
friends.

Having fitz and Boldin can get you inot the"throw it up for grabs
" syndrome. The QB coach, by ths time, should be teaching them- out of bounds or in the tuirf.
