There is a lot of intrigue surrounding what the Raiders will do at quarterback in this year's NFL Draft. Las Vegas landed their starter with a trade that sent a late third round pick (92 overall) to Seattle for Geno Smith. But they are expected to continue to look at the position in the hopes of finding some competition at the position in this year's draft.

They are meeting with one of the more intriguing QB prospects today. According to SI's Albert Breer the Raiders are meeting with Texas QB Quinn Ewers as one of a handful of teams that are showing strong interest in the former top high school recruit.

The other teams showing particular interest include the Jets, Cowboys, and Saints.

The Raiders already spoke at length with Ewers at the Scouting Combine in Indianapolis and came away impressed with his X's and O's knowledge. And in addition to their meeting today, they are expected to invited Ewers to Las Vegas as one of their 30 official draft visits.

Ewers is projected as either a late day two or early day three pick which is a good range for the Raiders. They hold a high third round pick (68 overall) and high fourth round as well (107 overall). And they have Tom Brady lending his insight at the position. A QB who is known for originally being selected in the sixth round of the draft.
