If folks are going to slam RG for their perceptions of his failing, then they should equally praise him for scores like this.

We got Corey Sears in almost exactly the same manner a few years ago from the Rams. And, he didn't exactly set the world on fire. Now, I think Moses has more upside than Sears did. But, it's too early to call it a "score". I'm glad we claimed him though.

C'mon guys. You don't really believe this do you? If this were true, it would be being covered by a lot more than a couple of tiny sites. Even this article is pretty much citing you guys as why this is probably true. What kind of sense does that make? This is the very definition of a "circle jerk". You guys believe it's true because they're saying it and they believe it's true because you guys are saying it.

You guys are smarter than this.

I haven’t heard the reports, but the Cardinals fan sites are covered with similar postings so I’d say where there is smoke, there is fire.

Hey, kudos to Graves for getting him. It was a savvy waiver wire pickup. Do I think this launches him into GM legitimacy? He has to do waaaaaaaaaaay more for that to happen. Still, good move.

I like the signing but it's a wash with the loss of our 3rd rd pick.

So you are saying Graves started this internet rumor to make himself look good and we shouldn't be fooled.

Gotcha.

I counting this as some type of victory even if it's just a rumor. The Cardinals need any wins they can get. :)

I fail to see your undying need to constantly defend the guy as if he's your brother or something.

Personal opinion: The decision to cut Moses was made by Al Davis. He knew it wouldn't be popular with the players or staff, so a rumor was floated that Kiffin didn't agree with it and was unhappy (PFT). The reaction was even stronger than big Al expected. Result: some bureaucrat at Ray-duh headquarters screwed up and submitted the wrong name.

Any way you spin it, Rod Graves looks good and the Ray-duhs not so much.

Now Whis and company need to turn this guy into the next Julius Peppers. :D

I believe myself to have fairly balanced view of Graves and the FO -- I know/beleive that he has taken the fall for many historical decisions that werent necessarily his--

that being said, that fact that the team's draft evaluation missed so badly on a day one pick is a mistake that will be placed squarely at his feet. Yes, I would rather them "fess up" and get the error behind them instead of keeping a worthless player on the roster simply to make it less embarrassing, but it doesnt fix the bigger mistake.

Picking up Moses might be a great move -- however, it has a high degree of luckiness with it rather than design. Its like having 19 in blackjack and hitting. Drawing a 2 doesnt make hitting the right move.

Oh please. That's like saying we should congratulate him for having the brillance to take Leinart when he fell to us.

It's oakland's dysfuntion that allowed us to benefit in both of those instances, not Graves's acumen.

All of which goes to show that the Cardinals luck is finally changing. To have Lienart fall into our laps last year and Moses this year-------. These are things that usually only happen to the Patriots.

RG might not be the greatest GM, but if he turns out to be the luckiest, we will be smiling all the way to the SB.

One of my favorite quotes of all time,

"I would rather be lucky then good any day"

I think the Cards just don't want any guys named Davis on the roster.

Did Buster jump offsides a lot?

And I fail to see why some can only slam him and not recognize that some of his moves are good.

Not ready to crown his ass yet but this was a good move it appears
