Kobe got 40 points with an injured finger and the guy defending him contributed zero points.

How is this acceptable to you guys?

Tell you what: I will hold Kobe to 40 points one night and if you pay me raja's per game salary, I'll give myself a goose egg after the game.

You've already GOT a goose egg if you think you can hold Bryant to 40 points. :p

Kobe is now playing the best basketball of his career. He is playing both ends of the floor, he is unstoppable on offense, but most importantly, he is involving his teammates.

In my book, he is the MVP of the season--yes, over KG. And I cannot stand Kobe.

If the lakers take the west(best record), kobe should get the MVP, as they will have to come from behind to do it. I am not a fan of the person kobe bryant, but any true basketball fan MUST acknowledge his unparalleled skills in this league. Yes, he is playing better than ever, and now he has a very talented team to back him up(mitch kupchak went from idiot to genius, assisted by memphis, in one year). It sucks for suns fans, but its good for basketball. Something happened to kobe on team USA this summer, and the NBA is going to have to deal with it.

Kobe is sick but I think the Suns should give him his points and stop the inside players from getting easy buckets.

Funny how no one says this about bowen: "what has he done this year?"

Sadly, this is completely true. Raja would just as effective on the Spurs if he replaced Bowen. Duncan is the best anchor of the past decade. He is the main reason for Bowen's success. Without him, Bowen would still be in and out of the D-league.

But I think we'll match up better with the Lakers once Bynum gets back ironically. Shaq on Gasol and Amare on the perimeter against Odom isn't favorable for us, I'd much rather have Amare on Gasol and Shaq on Bynum defenseively.

Sovereignz, can you elaborate on your intruiging, unconventional statement?

Shaq on Pau isn't a good matchup. Pau is too quick and can hit the mid range shot. I haven't seen Bynum play this year but I don't recall him having a jumper, or at least having one as deep as Pau.
