The Rams are playing great Defense!! And that was a big win for us at their house. I wouldn't want to play them there again. Rams will be a bigger threat to us than the Seahawks. Schedule is to hard for Seattle.

Could be like when we caught Miami early in 2008 before they rallied and finished 11-5.

Eh the Panthers are terrible. Their running game is nowhere near as good as good as it use to be and Matt Moore is probably the only QB worse than Max Hall.

Well they whipped the 49ers last week. And Moore threw for 300 yards against a good defense. The Rams on the other hand have only given up like 120 yards total offense. Impressive enough.

Dismiss it if you want but the first step to moving up in the NFL is to always beat the weak teams. That is what the Cards did in 2008 in sweeping the division and it led to an NFC Championship.

That is what Arizona did last season. Did not lose to a single team that ended 2009 with a losing record. The result, 11 wins, a second division title and a stomping of the SB loser jinx.

And the 49ers might have found a QB....I am a HUGE Ohio State fan...And Troy Smith has talent. He looks good in his first start with the 49ers.

The Rams are, as hard as this is for me to fathom, playing good, disciplined football. Their talent level right now is not high. Wide receiver is an utter disaster, and the offensive line is spotty, and some parts of the defense are pretty weak. There are several areas that will almost certainly be upgraded next season.

But the main thing is they're actually playing good smart football... disciplined on special teams, not giving first downs away on defense. They're not really a threat this year, and I'm scared to death the receiver situation is going to lead to some bad habit for Bradford. But yeah, I can't believe I'm regretting that close loss to the Cards as much as I am.

Rams can definately win the division. Actually I believe they will. Also believe they will be favored when we play them in AZ.

How far we have fallen. What a difference a year makes for both teams.

Which raises the huge question: How do the Rams with nothing get a rookie QB and suddenly start to look like division favorites?

While our guys with back to back division titles look like the keystone kops with our rookie QB.

True, but shouldn't we be better than the Rams in all the other aspects of the game?

But then I guess he's so much better than our guys that it offsets everything else. Steven Jackson averaged 2.5 ypc today. Worse than Beanie. But they still won.

2 TDs for the Rams from Bradford vs 2 TDs for Tampa from Hall.

Just goes to show you Duck that in the NFL, where parity rules and the differences between teams is typically extremely small, QB play is often the biggest factor in terms of creating separation between teams. Bradford is certainly not playing like a rookie. He keeps his team in the game and certainly doesn't become the cause for them being behind and/or eventually losing.
Combined with their defense that is playing extremely solid football, and there you have the differences between the Rams and the Cards...

Bradford is a good one & those guys are hard to find. As I've said numerous times this year Duck, the Lambs are much closer to hoisting the Lombardi than us.

Lets see:
1)We have no QB
2)poor play from our OT's
3)poor edge rushers

Wow, those are the most important pieces of a title contender and we have none of the 3. :bang::bang::bang: The Cards FO & coaches have their work cut out for them the next few years.

That really sums it up Bucky. Hadn't looked at it that way but you are right. It's a passing league and you have to be able to pass, protect your passer, and get after the other team's passer and we haven't been good at that at all.

I agree that those are the major components needed to win in the NFL.

I'm not as worried about our OT's as many fans are.

Levi has been solid this year IMO. He is getting less penalties then prior years and it seems he is getting beat less while playing against better pass rushers.

BK is dissapointing because he was getting so many raving reviews from the coaching staff and Wolf. As a 7th rd pick playing for the 1st time he hasn't been horrible. I would say he is playing as well as Levi did on the right side or fairly close to it. He still gets confused when teams bring blitzes and at times takes on the wrong rusher.

As many have posted this unit was going to struggle at the beginning of the year due to a lack of continiuty etc. They are actually run blocking about as well as last year and that's with horrible play from the QB position.

If we get a solid QB and an elite pass rusher this team will win more then they lose.

The Rams are playing well because they are calling plays like they have a rookie quarterback. Everything is quick dumps - Bradford is not expected to throw complicated, dangerous, or deep passes. Watch their games. That is what you do with a rookie quarterback, and yes you can be successful. Bradford is getting some success, getting more confident, and soon will be a very good NFL qb. He is not a big power arm, but he has enough to be successful.

Biggest difference between the Rams and Cardinals? St.Louis is +3 in turnover differential. Arizona is -9 second worst in the NFL.

23 turnovers by the Cards in only 7 games is ridiculous.
