The Los Angeles Rams currently have eight picks in the 2025 NFL Draft and have a few different needs across the roster.
While positions like tight end, cornerback and inside linebacker are the biggest areas of concern heading into the season, L.A. might opt to add players at different positions early in the draft if the board falls the right way. The Rams are contending for a Super Bowl in 2025, so bringing in Week 1 contributors should be the first priority as the team maximizes its window with Matthew Stafford under center and a young defense on rookie contracts.
Of the Rams' eight picks, four are on Day 3 of the draft, including three in the sixth round. While that could change with potential trades, this is an area the Rams can shore up on depth where they need to instead of looking for starters at certain positions.
Pro Football Focus' Mason Cameron identified one player the Rams could target on the third day of the draft: Notre Dame linebacker Jack Kiser. The 6-foot-1, 227-pound Kiser played in 69 games for the Fighting Irish during his collegiate career and with 275 career tackles, including 55 solo tackles this past season.
This is a low-risk, high-reward Day 3 pick for the Rams. Kiser wouldn't be expect to contribute immediately with Omar Speights and Nate Landman ahead of him on the depth chart, but his experience could mean a small learning curve during his rookie season.
If the Rams don't address inside linebacker at some point early in the draft, Kiser is the type of prospect who could flourish in L.A.

"Three of the Rams' four rostered linebackers were undrafted prospects, and it makes sense for them to continue to add to the group with another smart, low-cost contributor," Cameron wrote. "Kiser is on the older side of the rookie spectrum — turning 25 this season — and lacks athleticism but plays a savvy game through football acumen and instincts. He generated an 80.0-plus PFF run-defense grade in each of the past four seasons, also charting in the 99th percentile in missed tackle rate over that span."
