There are two types of Ram fans.

The old school LA Ram fans that live here now, or drove over from LA for the game. These Ram fans are pretty cool, they wear a lighter blue color.

Then there are the bandwagon Ram fans...

They live here too. They've got the rip off jersey's on, that they bought at flea markets, or stole from a store. They wear them year round, because it's the nicest piece of clothing they posess.

That's a good observation. I'd agree with that.

Any TRUE Rams fan would know that that statement stinks like a new pile of dung! It took Old-Lady Frontiere 10 years to destroy that franchise, and another 10 to realize that the only way to win is to let Football-Guys make football decsions!

My favorite way to shut up fans of the other team when they like to trash talk is to ask them "Where do you live?"

BTW, it's always nice when Rams fans take the price tags off of their hats and jerseys before entering the stadium.

Rams fans are as fickle as any other fan base in sports. Once they start losing again, they will disappear...

That reminds me of something a woman in a Warner yelled before the game (at someone else mind you)

"You stole our team, now we're back!"

WTF?!?!?! :doi:

Ken-

I have this thing I do when exiting SDS after a loss. If somone is spouting off at us Cardinal fans on the way out, I ask real loud if they are going straight to the airport for thier flight back home.

The best answer they could give, would be-"oh no, we live here."

It's interesting how many responses from the crowd THAT reply brings.

I always wish them a safe drive back to Apache Junction.

No doubt Lex. One of my favorite things is to give the "you should be ashamed of yourself" speech to locals who root against the Cardinals.

I love asking basic questions about the team whose jersey they are wearing, sometimes even about the player on their jersey, and getting blank stares or "I don't know" in response.

Unbelievably there were Rams fans that didn't know which state the team played in... :barf:

Redheart--

Your avatar is priceless!! My sentiments too, when they thought Jeff was really hurt and put Josh in, I sat down in my seat and closed my eyes. I was waiting for the interception. I was so glad Jeff was able to walk it off and come back in the game. Why don't they use Parsons??

OK, sitting in my section there was mid 20's Rams bandwagon fan (as just about all Rams fans are). He was predictably drunk and obnoxious.

He was so excited about beating the powerful Cardinals by 3 pts in overtime that he felt it necessary to come up to less than 6" from my face screaming obcenities and giving me the finger (and I do mean screaming at a range of 6").

He then proceeded to do this to several other folks, some of which had less restraint that I. Last I saw him, he started throwing punches in additition to the screaming. This didn't go down very well.

In fact several Cardinals fans tried to politly ask him to tone it down a little and stop hitting them. Of course they did it while they had him pinned to the ground and pounding him.

It may sound bad, but he asked for it and he started it, he really got what he deserved. With luck he learnt something before he trys it at a Raiders game, he might not live through that.

WELL HELL HE NEEDED HIS AZZ KICKED. i dont understand why people gotta start fights at games..grown azz men acting foolish about a game. now i get fired up about the rams, but i dont go to a game to start a fight. a little teasing and then when it is over i usually shake hands with some of the other fans whether we win or lose.

Us Cards fans are good fighters. Being heckled by opposing fans on a weekly basis in our own stadium provides us the rage and killer instinct to beat down douchebag bandwagoners that flock to the SDS.

The thing is that bandwgon and obnoxious fans like him are why Rams fans are rapidly catching up with the Felons on the list of most disliked teams/fans.

I mean one idiot was walking about of the stadium yelling about how the Rams are going to the Superbowl. Brighteyes and I just started laughing in his face, I mean they barely beat the Cards and he thinks they are going to the big dance. Give me a break.

MaoTosiFanClub gets it.

The funny thing about it is, in section 27 where I reside, it's a different fan, different color sitting next to us every game. What they don't realize, is that we get this at every home game. They think they're original, cool, different somehow.

They're like mice. They run around really quick, thinking they're so fast no one could touch them. Then they run through a little hole in the wall, and there's a huge cat just sitting there looking at them. They run around calling the cat names, till he bites thier head off, and throws the body over on the big pile of mice behind him, and waits for the next one to come along.

The sad thing is if the Rams get homefield advantage - they have as good a shot of getting there as anyone - the NFC is weak this year - weak as I can ever remember - I mean I think the Eagles have the best shot right now - and they have never impressed me all that much - but damn they are some resilient mothers.

I'll have to give it a shot sometime. Maybe next time I'm at a bar watching the game I'll yell "FACE!!" or "BOOYA!!" everytime Boldin catches the ball. And then I'll just throw in a "Broncos Blow Ass!!" for good measure.

Thats what I do when I go to BarNone to watch the Cards play! The locals LOVE me!

The fights are pretty much limited to Cards games because there is alcohol involved.

Are you a USC fan and a Rams fan in ... Georgia?

What are your other teams in other sports?

generalizations suck just like this thread does.

I mean c'mon every team has bandwagon fans, idiot fans, confrontational fans. Is this really worth even discussing? Oh I guess I am too late for that. Oh well.
