Tyler Johnson won’t be returning to the Los Angeles Rams in 2025. He was a pending free agent and he’s found a new team, agreeing to a deal with the New York Jets.

The terms of his contract have not yet been revealed, but it’s likely a one-year deal for the veteran receiver. Johnson played two years with the Rams from 2023-2024, playing 16 games and catching 28 passes for 299 yards with two touchdowns.

Previously, he spent two years with the Buccaneers from 2020-2021 and had a one-year stint with the Texans in 2022. He has four career touchdowns and 828 total yards receiving.

The #Jets signed two free agents last night, according to their agency IFA:

WR Tyler Johnson from the Rams
CB Kris Boyd from the Texans

Johnson had 26 catches for 291 yards and 1 TD last year and is 26.

Boyd is 28 and mostly played special teams.
