Two weeks ago in Austin, after the NASCAR race, we tried to eat at a texas road house. It was a 55 minute wait when we got there @ 9:00 p.m.
place was packed. We ate at WhatBurger instead.

Cousins is a good place to eat in Ft.Worth. Reminds me of Rudy’s in New Mexico, but better quality.

What hippies? Austin ain’t the Austin you think anymore.
I was going to say the same thing. there's a lot of out of staters living there and a lot of them are not hippies. nothing wrong with being from out of state. I moved to this area and I'm not from it. it seems like Austin/SA are growing faster than any area that I've ever seen personally.

Texas Roadhouse is not worth waiting for. neither is Whataburger. there are so many good bbq places in central texas though. especially the mom and pop type places that don't truck in their pre-made food.
