The Rams feel they got screwed in that not one penalty was called against the Pats. They are bringing film into the NFL front office to prove otherwise. Only one thing can come of this. WE WILL GET SCREWED NEXT WEEK!!! Expect 15 penalties on the Cardinals & I'm sure we'll have at least 2 td's called back. Be prepared to be pissed on & pissed off.

Its a regular practice. Every team in the league every week sends a tape of what think was bad calls or hits that should be fined to the league office.

Why do you think highly competitive coaches go ballistic after games or act so rude to the press. They are mad because the NFL scripted their team to lose that Sunday.

Wondering why the Cards ran such a weird defensive alignment at the end of the Carolina game? Vince McMahon would know.

:D

In a van...down by the river.
This move stems all the way back to Super Bowl 36 when the Patriots were allowed to hold, claw, clutch, bump, grab and basically tackle RAMS recievers ALL GAME long enroute to a 3 point victory.
Martz was outcoached that day but it was 2001* and it was the "Patriots."

*technically February 2002 but you get the idea;)

Yeah, it's at least partially a win the fans maneuver by Haslett, because he knows that Rams fans hate the Patriots with a fiery passion because of that game.

Still, the biggest reason for the Rams losing was Martz being a stubborn dillhole and failing to adjust to what the Patriots were doing, or to replace Rod Jones with Ryan Tucker because Tucker was in his doghouse and Jones was a reclamation project he endorsed. Jones got beat like a drum the whole game, including on the pick-6 to Ty Law. When Tucker finally came in, the Rams scored two TDs in short order.

It's amazing how one guy can make all the difference sometimes.

There was one penalty but the Rams declined it.

Longtime Cards fans will remember the game from hell in RFK on the last day of the 84 season. We needed a win to take the division, a loss and we were out of the playoffs. Lomax had a great day but O'Donoghue missed a rushed long FG right at the end I think the final was 31-29.

What made that game memorable was that we were called for something liek 10 penalties, to 1 for Washington. Their one penalty was a late whistle false start(or delay I forget which) penalty that actually prevented a sack by Curtis Greer. The whistle was so late nobody stopped so it wasn't as if Greer got to Theismann because they let up.

That was the game where EJ Junior got a roughing call because he had Joe T wrapped up but Joe was still fighting, so EJ swung him down. They called roughing and Pat Summerall said "if you take the aggressiveness out of the game, the stands will be filled with no shows."

At one point Theismann got away with grounding on one play and then on the next one they didn't call in the grasp(when it was still a rule) and he completed a pass. The Junior penalty play was about 3-4 players later so you can understand why he threw Joe down, we'd lost 2 sacks on the same drive because of no calls. It was without question the most one sided officiated game I've ever seen, it was a miracle we nearly won it.

So I can relate to the Rams complaining. I just hope the NFL doesn't decide to make up for it this week.
