We weren’t missing out on DJ Metcalf. Just a Poor-man’s Michael Floyd. At least Floyd made big catches

That game shows how far behind the Cardinals are in the division
That was clearly a game of two very good teams....the cards aren’t even close to that level of play....shoot the Cardinals shouldn’t even be in the same league as these two teams right now.

I saw 2 OL's that are well below standard for teams that aspire to win a SB. Seattle is fortunate they have Wilson & LA is fortunate to have McVay. Without the pick 6 and 2 missed fg's, we are in a position to beat Seattle. Let's see what happens to our D when PP21 gets back. It won't completely fix the D, buy it will help more than people think.

and soMe really bad ones... his Last eight games only two quarterbacks have a lower quarterback rating Rosen and alan from Buffalo

I didn’t know he had a puss arm. He actually made me take a moment of silence/appreciation for Kylers whip last night.

I would need to see more tape on Goff, but his release at times is very long & time consuming. He's very good when given an eternity to throw the ball, not so good when pressured. He also has receivers that create separation. He would be just horrendous behind our OL & with our WR's.

Goff is basically Rosen with an elite supporting cast. Elite offensive coach, elite trio of WRs and elite RB. OL was among the best as well, but they got 2 new unexperienced starters and it shows. Put Goff into Rosen's circumstances he had last year with us or now in Miami, and he would suck the same way.

I still don't know what to make of Jared Goff. One game he'll look mostly composed and drop dimes..then completely fall off the map the next.

Jared Goff is a good QB under a great offensive mind. End of discussion.

All you have to do is look at that rookie season. Before McVay & Whitworth. They changed everything for that offense.

A guy like Goff needs a good-to-great running game to compensate for his noodle arm (buy him time to set up for what he wants to do), aka play action.

Kyler just needs himself to buy all the same time.

I heard recently Kyler went 127/130 for 114 yards.

He has also left 500 rushing yards and a couple scores on the field.

I trust this kid as a passer. He’s a smart ****.

Just want him to leverage himself on the field.

Huh? Negative pass plays?

Sorry- I didn’t expand the quote out. I’m clearly being hyperbole and exaggerating the facts, but he does have some ridiculous number of attempts (and completions) for about 2.5 yds per attempt... just saying the guy needs to use those big out sticks a little more.

I don’t care to see him get to his 5th read if it means loosing even a half yard, whether by taking a sack or buying time. He often has 7-20ish yards of field available around the 2nd or 3rd read he sees covered- he is leaving those yards on the field.

You got to know when to hold, when to fold, and when to dig the spurs in...
