A back Packer? Lol, nah homie. I'm an Old School G that goes hard for Christ, REAL TALK, no fakes, I live what I speak. Don't think I'm the only one either. The dudes I mentioned are selling more records than all your favorite rappers. Can't deny that. Lecrae's new Gravity Album was number 1 on Itunes a month before it even came out. Trip Lee had a number 1 album on Itunes. KB had a number 1 album on Itunes. You probably knew that. All with NO RADIO play. Can't deny that, can't touch that, all you can do is hate it. We here and we ain't going NOWHERE. 1-1-6!!!!!!!!

Right on homie. I prefer some underground my self, but I also gotta keep ties with what I grew up with. If we don't discriminate on what we listen to, that be true hip hop. Listen to what's good. That's different for everybody.

T.I. has also been in the studios for a good 10 years, and flows about life instead of his rims. He gotta midget for a wifey, but at least he spits game. I tried hard to 2 chain, everybody in my store loves that cat. All I hear is another version of Lil Wayne's skinny jeans...I can't do it homie. I needs me some substance up in my verses.

Agreed Ill listen to my talib kewli and little brother pandora station. There is some real horrible rap music out right now. Big Sean is probably one of the only new "commercial" rappers I like.
2 chains has been around for a long time. just not solo. he was in the group playaz circle.

I can't challenge Miley Cyrus to a fight but that kind of music does describe my distaste in a great and obvious way.

There is still a lot of great hip hop out there, but you have to listen to underground artists or artists from the past. 90% of new crap is solely aimed at radio play.

Hip hop is alive and well with the youth. It's funny when you think back to a kid, and think about the moves your were pulling, or the skateboard tricks you were ruling. Thinking you were a master at video games win you held your block down with the Madden or Mortal Combat. Spray painting that bridge with bubble letters, and yes I did include skate boarding with hip hop. We sagged together damn it!
We aint got nothing on these kids today, the stuff we considered impossible or high level is now child's play. I for one am glad these kids take it to new levels, no hating going on here. The internet and all of our work has transformed into today's youth thinking anything is possible.

I have worked my way back up some, still competing with father time. While folks work on their one handed push ups I'm still trying to keep my one handed hand stand. Push ups rule.
