The Suns couldn't make it all the way back.

Final:

Raptors 115 - Suns 109

Chriss, Jackson, Bender and Warren went a combined 7-31 (.226) from the field.

That's our future leaving Booker out of the equation.

Where did Daniels come from? First I have seen him play.

Then you haven’t been paying attention Shaggy. We traded for him near the start of the season and he’s played spot minutes at the 2 throughout the season. As you can tell tonight he’s a 3 pt specialist. If he was a good defender he could be a great 3&D guy. But he’s an awful defender.

UFDA that's bounced around the league since '13. Strong 3-point shooter in college. Got his first real opportunity with the Hornets before moving onto Memphis last year. We got him and a 2nd rounder from Memphis in exchange for a conditional 2nd rounder; i.e. basically for nothing.

I have this gut feeling Len will go to the Spurs and become a borderline star under Popovich.

Someone tell me I have nothing to worry about.

You have nothing to worry about.

A slow, low IQ defender with terrible hands and a putrid shooter from every distance...

Again... no one even offered him a contract this summer. We're a bad team and we score less and give up more when he is on the court. This guy is not destined for stardom. He is a deep bench player on any team worth a damn.

I will give Bender a bit of a pass until the mask comes off. But Chriss is just playing horrible. I understand he is young, but he should not be THIS bad. He is looking more and more like a bust. He is acting more and more like one too.

Bender needs to stop just standing at the 3 point line. He drove to the hoop once last night and it was amazing. He needs to move without the ball, drive to the hoop, and be more aggressive. I am sure the mask is affecting his shooting, but I am fairly certain that it's not preventing him from driving to the hoop, moving without the ball, or going for offensive rebounds.

Agreed on Chriss. I am not sure what his problem is, but he should not only not be starting, but he shouldn't be playing for a couple of games. I know the Suns are thin due to injuries, but Chriss could use a week long assignment in the G-League right now.

Good.

The Suns have only figured out how to use Len this season.

Well. To me, his standing at the three point line is in the coach. That is likely what he is being instructed to do within the offense.

Exactly. Triano needs to alter his offense to take advantage of Bender's strengths. He's not Channing Frye.

lol speechless

Dragan Bender has the worst RPM in the entire league for a PF and close to the worst overall at -4.6. Only 10 players in the entire league have a RPM worse than 4.0 (Tyler Ulis, Josh Jackson are two of the other 9). The gap between Bender and the 2nd worst PF is an astounding 1.6 points.
Think about that, if you added 1.5 points to everyones rating on the team even Mike James and Alex Len would be top 20ish rated players at their positions. Dragan Bender would still be the worst at his.
http://www.espn.com/nba/statistics/rpm/_/page/3/sort/RPM/position/6

When Dragan Bender plays the Suns have a net rating of about -16. When Dragan Bender does not play the Suns have a net rating of only about -1.

Dragan Bender's production this year is WORSE than last year besides his 3pt% almost all his stats are down.
https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/b/bendedr01.html

Marquese Chriss is leading the team in defensive rating, Marquese Chriss is leading the team in defensive BPM, Marquese Chriss ranks 46th among PFs in RPM at -0.5 or so, only a point off from ranking in the top 30.

Marquese Chriss has improved his numbers across the board almost besides struggling with his shooting since the Suns are not running any more plays for him. His rebounding, assists and blocks have all gone up.

Marquese Chriss is actually productive and can play, his major issues are just fouls and refs.

Dragan Bender has shown NOTHING. He is truly the next Tsikitsvili.

You guys suffer from unreal bias.

Peters is supposed to be a pretty good team defender. Why would anyone just assume he is not better than Chriss? Chriss is horrible as a defender.

Truly, that is so ignorant and ridiculous. Is your real name maybe Sara Huckabee-Sanders by any chance?!?!

Peters is a 6'8- 6'9 PF in the Dleague averaging 18/8 and you think he could do a better job against NBA starters than our statistically best defensive player so far this year.

18/8 in the Dleague is NOTHING.

Wow. Already blocking you. Way to go. Make a point, disagree if you like, but be civil.

He's from New Yawk. What do you expect? Personal attacks there are a way of life.

I'm so glad I left New Jersey (I lived near Princeton, half way between New York and Philadelphia) for Phoenix 39 years ago.

I think the mask keeps him from being aggressive, he's shying away from contact because of getting hit before. Hopefully he doesn't end up like Zarko.
