The article says rashad weighs about the same as last year but worked out with wilson all summer and emulated his diet. He decreased his body fat this summer from 17% to 7.8%!?!

I dont know whats more amazing - that he played safety in the nfl with 17% body fat (very bad) or that he decreased it by 10% this summer...

Either way, hell be an improved player no matter what just b/c of this. I know from experience and im sure many others do to that even losing 1% of body fat can make you feel a whole lot different. I cant imagine loosing 10%?

Anyways, something to watch for sure cause thats a rediculous improvement if thats true..

According to the article, he has caught the eye of the Defensive Coordinator, and that is a good thing indeed. His efforts have not gone unnoticed. That alone bodes well for Johnson, but the fact that A-Dub has taken him under his wing speaks even more to his favor. Very few indeed will fall into this group, (positively noticed by the coordinator, and an obvious favorite of one of the defensive team leaders). Break out, young man, break out !!!!!

what kind of nutrition guidance do they follow? I think my body fat is just under 80% and I would like to have a mcrib or two removed so I can finally stir my own shamrock shake.

Believe it or not, 17% bf isnt a huge number. and below 10% is pretty hard to maintain...

But if true, a very good improvement.

Yep... You could say it is high for an athelete but for a normal man it is an acceptable percentage...

For the average person, 17% is ok. But if you're an athlete, it's unacceptable.

A safety should be no higher than 9-12% (and even 12 is a little high).

Glad Johnson is down 7%. That'll make a difference in his speed and stamina. I have noticed improvement in his play since his rookie season, but we need to know he's a reliable back up.

You really can't play safety in the NFL with 17% body fat which is probably why Rashad Johnson was completely horrid the last couple years. Mimicking AW's workout regime will definitely prolong his career. Wilson's workout habits are legendary around the valley. A friend of mine works out at his gym says Wilson is an absolute freak of nature. And this is coming from a guy who can literally run up 14,000 foot mountains and does weightlifting competitions regularly.

What games were you watching? Though Johnson only played in subpackages last year, he was pretty good for the most part.

I know profootballfocus backs up what I saw, giving him a positive rating last year and the highest of all our safeties.
