I respect your opinion, but could not disagree more.

How can this oipinion be respected? There is nothing respectable or even rational about this view. I get Grace but Grace comes after the sin not as a free pass to commit it.

I say moronic :bang:

Your idea is appalling to me.

and we have winner, Sissy wins the most asinine post ever award.

Are you kidding me?!?!? I guess you don't have a daughter.

And the idiots on this board that say its OK to beat a woman if she hits first, really??? A 6'2" 250 pound linebacker has to break a tiny little woman's collar bone to "defend" himself????????

Sissy is trolling you all as he has done many times in the past

I thought it was pure sarcasm and I chuckled all the way through it. I honestly didn't think SBF had it in him. But if it wasn't sarcasm.....

I find it odd that there is no link to a story about this on NFL or ESPN on their home page. Are they keeping it under wraps for the time being? Not that I really want to read it, it just wasn't there.

The NFL should have a grandfather clause regarding domestic abuse. Those already in the NFL gets 1 mulligan in order to get it out of their system. Their rage has been building up against their spouse for years probably, and it is only fair that they get to let it out once and for all before being held accountable to any new stringent rules.

Personally, I think everyone in life should get 1 mulligan to use whenever they want no matter what they did wrong. After all, we are all human and no one is perfect. Forgiveness is at the root of all religions.

The NFL is American. And America represents God and the principals of Christianity. Everyone, the NFL, spouses, friends, employers, all should live by the Mulligan Rule of Life, forgive and forget the most grievous trespass any of us will make once in our lives. And believe me, we all will if we haven't already.

What you all say, Cards fans?

They are going to have to if they don't want to wind up in court in a losing battle.

I think it just depends on the crime for me. I do agree to some extent on giving everyone a mulligan. We all screw up at some point in our lives and if its bad enough you go to jail for it. Anyway, If he beat the woman up then he should be suspended. If he defended himself and just pushed her away then no he should not be suspended. It really depends on what happened. The way I have always thought is that neither the woman or the man should put there hands on the other. There is no way I would say its ok for a woman to beat on a man and he should take it because he is a man. That is bull and there is also no way I would condone a man beating a woman just because they have an argument. Its best that neither hits the other. It all depends on just what happened to me. When I was an EMT along time ago I came across quite a few domestic violence cases and it was not always cut and dry. Many times I saw the man look a lot worse than the woman and one time I even saw a pair of scissors sticking out of a mans head. The woman found out he cheated on her and stabbed the guy.

It all depends on what happened and not just the charge. I always would want to see the facts and know what happened before making a judgment.
