Ok, I have not started a series thread yet, but with the way the team is playing, why not start one? Maybe it will bring them luck.

As for the Diamondback players, you all suck until to show us something. Every player needs to get their head out of their a$$ and start playing the way they are capable. Grow some balls and don't be afraid to fail.

Now for some good news, Price pitched today against the Red Sox and won't pitch in this series. Also, Rodney threw 23 pitches and I doubt we see him tomorrow.

Pitching matchups:
Tuesday:Kennedy vs Hernandez
Wednesday:Miley vs Hellickson

Now win and you won't have people saying you suck. :)

Rays are red hot, they are a very good team, not good for us. I caught the tail end of a conversation on 620 today about Kennedy being out on notice by the front office, anyone have more details on that?

I've got a bad feeling about this whole road trip.

And the worst part is Towers will talk to the press after every loss saying; "This team is fine it's totally fine I believe in the guys we have here this team is fine. My psychic told me everything with be fine."

I hope I'm wrong, go Dbacks.

1-0 based on PURE laziness by Eaton. So I guess this team has quit huh? That's freaking inexcusable.

It's amazing how far Kennedy has fallen. 2011 was incredible and 2012 was slightly above average. Figured he'd find a middle ground and be a really solid #2. But he's barely a #5 this year. And that's a stretch.

I am sick and tired of seeing our hitters trying to pull outside pitches. Since the beginning of time, everyone knows that a a lefty trying to pull an outside pitch will ground out to 2B. And a righty will ground out to SS.

We were going to be a "gritty team" hitting singles and doubles, moving runners around the bases. Then Gibson announced -- announced!!! -- that he wants to see more home runs. And since then, a few weeks ago, our hitters look like Little Leaguers at the plate.

Who is our left fielder? Or our center fielder? Or setup man? Is our best starting pitcher heading the rotation since the All Star break? Nope! Our least dependable one is.

We have pretty solid players on our roster. Is it the fault of each of them? Or do they come to the park as frustrated as the fans knowing that their role for the game will be determined two hours before the start of the game?

For the first half of the season, it could be said that Gibson had the D'backs overachieving to stay in 1st place.

A 162-game schedule is a marathon, not a sprint. So far, every week of the season has been a continuation of Spring Training. Everyone huffing and puffing to find their roles.

And now it is catching up with us. Kirk Gibson is not the man to manage for the long haul. That will become more and more apparent as we sink in the standings. The results will speak for themselves.

Man we suck... And for some reason, we chasing Peavy while we literally can't score a run... I hope Peavy can toss a bunch of shutouts, cuz that's the only way he will be successful...

Playing like gritty winners tonight. Love the timely hitting.

However, the downgrade from Bob to Gonzo is unimaginable. Its excruciating. I feel bad for Steve, he will say something, set up Gonzo to give a response... silence... Gonzo will go multiple batters without saying a word. He makes Matt "In a nutshell" Williams color commentary seem exciting.

Miley with a gem. AJ needs to be in center every game with Parra and Ross. No musical outfielders.

And Pig just cost the Dodgers two runs in the top of the 9th. Yanks now lead 3 -0. Man I really enjoyed seeing Pig blow that routine play!

For some reason, it gives me great joy to see that payaso fail. Perhaps it's the smug attitude that the rookie conveys, or is it the media hype that sounds like nails to a chalkboard.

Not sure I consider him anymore of a rookie than say, Ichiro.

Also, find his age suspect.

Pop up between second base and right field. The second baseman, Ellis, was camped under the ball but Pig, being the spotlight grabber he is, tries to swoop in and steal the catch, knocking the ball out of Ellis's glove and allowing 2 runs to score!
Of course it didn't matter in the end as Rivera cam on the bottom of he 9th and closed the door with a 1-2-3 inning, striking out Ramirez and Ethier... Awesome!
