I know all of us love several of this year's crop of RBs in the draft, but what are the pros and cons of saving that pick for another high need. There are a couple of FA RBs I think would be a good fit for us. I love Colston from the Saints and am shocked they would let him go. But a cheaper version of Colston would be Vereen from the Patriots. He is a bigger type back who can catch the ball. Has lots of potential and not so many miles on his tires yet. Colston doesn't either, so both would be decent pick ups and satisfy our RB need. I would be overjoyed though if we paid Colston who is just 25 I believe and has been used sparingly via the Saints 3 RB rotation.

What thinketh thou Cards' fans?

I think you mean Ingram? Colston is a WR.

I am having an "old man" day all this week. All mixed up on everything, including what day it is. Had to increase my morphine and percocet due to a toothache. Anyway, that was a bad one. What was I thinking? Oh well, nevermind.

Reminds me of the Gerald Fitzsimmons post I made. That was a good "old man" day too.

Hey, I knew what you meant. That's all that matters.

I would think they would want a bigger, more punishing back to complement Ellington.... but who knows.

A lot of good options for RB this year I hope we add a good one so we can use Ellington as a weapon not the main back.

Not to worry over this SissyBoy. I have 'old man' days all the time. A great many of us on this board fully understand your predicament.
