In 2006, the St. Louis Cardinals in baseball went thru a miserable stretch the last month of the season. They barely qualified for the play-offs and even needed helped to get in on the very last day. As is, they qualified with the least amount of wins by any team in the play-offs that year. Once in, they surprisingly defeated the favored San Diego Padres. Then they squared off with the heavily-favored New York Mets but AMAZINGLY the Cards won. Onto the World Series where they were expected to be swept by the Detroit Tigers. ...And yet, the Cards shocked the baseball world by winning in (5) games and celebrated their 1st world championship in (23) years!! I bring this up hopefully as an encouragement because NO matter what all the experts say they don't know the Future any more than we do. So, as far, as I'm concerned ESPN can go stick their collective heads in the nearest snowbank with their cracks about worst play-off teams!! It's 11 degrees outside right now! GO CARDS!!
