I thought the actor that played Reacher was better in season two. He really got into the role. It was just not as good of a story line. Season three trailers look good!
The story was just blah. Plus there was some really poorly written sequences that made the characters seem dumb.

If Reacher gets over on the big guy clean and then needs to be rescued from having one of the small guys killing him, I may have to walk away.......

It was like Commando, when the final big fight scene is a flabby guy throwing Arnold around. I didn't find that in any way believable.

So far, so good. First two episodes were enjoyable, although just a tad slow, but expected (plot setup and all). Looking forward to the next 6.

(wife and I are currently binging ten seasons of Doc Martin, so my progress on Reacher is a bit slower than what I would normally do ;) )

Doc Martin was quite entertaining until it completely jumped the shark. Little to no character development either.

Really liking the show still. One thing that does bum me out is that he built this great team last season, and we get very little of them, and none at all of most of them. I know that's the character and story, but still.

You wander from town to town on your own, and no cell phone. It's hard to be part of a team. Plus they are following the books. The FBI is his team in this show.

Yeah.... I miss the team, as well. But this has been just great, nonetheless!

I actually prefer it when he is on his own without a “team”. I’ve read about 10+ of the books as well and also have enjoyed the ones when he is pretty much on his own the best (he tends to pick up a local or two in each book).
Agreed. I actually thought the team got in the way of enough reacher.

This season is so much better than last season but the writers seem to interject beyond STUPID scenarios at points during this season..AGAIN. For example, Reacher is supposed to be undercover and hiding his phone. Yet during a scene this season Reacher is standing in front of an open window with this hidden phone in his hand so anybody working on the grounds or guards could see in open sight what he is doing.

I love this show but it sure seems like whoever the writer was that created a bunch of stupid scenarios last season is still on the writing team.
